Sandor Martin
Sandor Martin Clemente (born 22 August 1993) is a Spanish professional boxer who has held the European super-lightweight title since 2019. As of October 2021, he is ranked as the world's sixth-best active super-lightweight by BoxRec, and eighth by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board. Professional career Martin made his professional debut on 8 October 2011, scoring a third-round technical knockout (TKO) victory over Armen Hovsepyan at the Pabellón del Bon Pastor in Barcelona, Spain. After compiling a record of 34–2 (12 KOs) he faced Andrea Scarpa for the vacant European super-lightweight title on 27 July 2019 at the Pabellón Francisco Calvo in Barcelona. Martin captured the European title by stoppage via ninth-round corner retirement (RTD). At the time of the stoppage he was ahead on all three judges' scorecards at 90–81. Light welterweight, also known as junior welterweight or super lightweight, is a weight class in combat sports. Majority Decision
A majority decision (MD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and others sports involving striking. In a majority decision, two of the three judges agree on which fighter won the match, while the third judge indicates that neither fighter won (i.e., a "draw"). In boxing, each of the three judges allocates a score (round by round) for each fighter. If all scheduled rounds are completed (i.e., no knockout (technical included)), each judge totals the points for all rounds. If the same fighter scores more points than the other on two of the judges' scorecards, but the third judge scored equally for both fighters (a draw), the official victory is awarded to the agreed-upon (by a 2 to 1 'majority') fighter. Leganés () is a city in the Community of Madrid, Spain. Joe Hughes is an English professional boxer who was born with Erb's palsy. He held the European light-welterweight title from 2018 to 2019 and challenged twice for the same title, along with two attempts at the British light-welterweight title between 2017 and 2019. Early life Joe Hughes was born on 6 August 1990 in Bath, Somerset, and grew up in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. He developed Erb's palsy after dislocating his shoulder during birth, a condition which causes paralysis due to damaged nerves.
