Sandesh Gadkari (born 16 March 1987) is an Indian football player who currently plays as a forward for Mumbai in the I-League. Career Air India During the summer of 2011, Sandesh signed with Air India FC. Salgaocar Gadkari has completed his widely speculated move to Goa-based Salgaocar SC when he signed on the dotted lines to ink a two-year deal with Karim Bencharifa's army. 2015–16 I-League
The 2015–16 I-League was the ninth season of the I-League, the Indian professional football league, since its establishment in 2007. The season commenced on 9 January 2016, after the Indian Super League finished, and concluded on 24 April 2016. The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The 2013–14 I-League (known as the ''Airtel I-League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the seventh season of the I-League, the top-tier Indian professional league for football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 21 September 2013, and ended on 28 April 2014. Churchill Brothers were the defending champions, having won their second I-League title in the previous season. On 21 April 2014, Bengaluru FC were crowned champions with one game remaining, winning their first ever I-League title by defeating Dempo 2–4 at Fatorda Stadium. Bengaluru FC also created history by becoming the first team ever to win the I-League title in its debut season. The 2011–12 I-League was the fifth season of the I-League. The season began in October 2011 and ended in May 2012. Salgaocar are the defending champions, having won their maiden title in the previous season. The current edition has a total of 14 teams contesting for the honors.
