San Lorenzo, Guimaras
San Lorenzo, officially the Municipality of San Lorenzo ( hil, Banwa sang San Lorenzo; tl, Bayan ng San Lorenzo), is a 5th class municipality in the province of Guimaras, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 29,444 people. San Lorenzo was created by virtue of ''Republic Act No. 7897'' out of Jordan, Guimaras on February 20, 1995. It is known for its wind farms. And in addition, San Lorenzo is celebrating its Foundation Day every month of February. San Lorenzo is a part of the Metro Iloilo–Guimaras area, centered on Iloilo City. Poverty is measured in different ways by different bodies, both governmental and nongovernmental. Measurements can be absolute, which references a single standard, or relative, which is dependent on context. Jordan, Guimaras
Jordan (), officially the Municipality of Jordan ( hil, Banwa sang Jordan; tl, Bayan ng Jordan), is a 3rd class municipality and capital of the province of Guimaras, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 39,566 people, making it the third largest settlement in the province. With a wharf closest to Iloilo City and a central location, Jordan is also the commercial center of the island. Jordan is bounded by the three municipalities of the province, Buenavista to the north, San Lorenzo to the east, and Sibunag to the south.
