Salma Solaun
Salma Solaun (born March 2 2005) is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast who competed at the 2019 Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastic championships, where she won a bronze medal. She also won a silver medal at the 2022 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in the 3 ribbons + 2 balls final. Personal life Solaun took up gymnastics at age three because she was restless, so her parents signed her up for a rhythmic gymnastics class. She also tried swimming and skating, but in the end she chose rhythmic gymnastics. Salma now says that "rhythmic gymnastics is part of my life. I could not see myself without it". Her dream is to compete at the Olympic Games, like her idols Almudena Cid and Ganna Rizatdinova. Career Junior In 2018 Solaun was integrated in the national team while competing for Beti Aurrera. The 2022 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics is a series of competitions officially organized and promoted by the International Gymnastics Federation. Formats On February 26, 2022, the International Gymnastics Federation cancelled all events scheduled to take place in Russia and Belarus due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Moscow World Challenge Cup, originally planned for 19–21 August and the Minsk World Challenge Cup, originally planned for 2–4 September, were affected by this decision and removed from the FIG calendar. Teresa Gorospe
Teresa Gorospe (born 28 April 2005) is a retired Spanish rhythmic gymnast. Personal life Teresa took up rhythmic gymnastics at age six in the first grade of primary school after seeing a friend do it. During summer she trains five hours every day, from autumn to spring she trains from 4 p.m until 8:30 p.m. Gorospe said she can now combine sport very well with studies, as gymnastics helps her to be more disciplined and to make better use of her time. In her free time she either studies or spend time with friends. Her favourite book and movie are Malory Towers by Enid Blyton and The Parent Trap by David Swift. Teresa says her best quality is that she's a hard worker, her idol is Russian gymnast Dina Averina who's a four time world champion. The 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships were held from 27 to 31 October 2021 in Kitakyushu, Japan. Dina Averina broke the record for the most medals won at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships with 22 total medals and also became the first gymnast to win four World all-around titles. Alina Harnasko won the gold medal in the ribbon, becoming the first non-Russian individual World Champion since 2013 and the first Belarusian individual World Champion since 1996. The Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix is an annual competition of tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics open to athletes from all over the globe. The series consists of a number of stages, culminating in the final event, usually referred to as ''Grand Prix Final''. The Spanish Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship is the most important national rhythmic gymnastics competition in Spain. It is organized annually since 1975 by the Royal Spanish Federation of Gymnastics and today, since 2010, it is called the Spanish Championship of Individuals, Clubs and Autonomies. It is currently held in June and alongside the Spanish Men’s Individual Championship. Hanna Serhiivna RizatdinovaAlternatively spelled as ''Ganna Rizatdinova'' or ''Anna Rizatdinova''. ( ua, Ганна Сергіївна Різатдінова; born 16 July 1993) is a Ukrainian individual rhythmic gymnast. In the all-around event, she is the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World All-around medalist (silver in 2013, bronze in 2014), and a two-time (2014, 2016) European All-around bronze medalist. Career Rizatdinova started to train gymnastics in Simferopol and was coached by her mother Oksana Rizatdinova. She won the silver all-around medal at the 2008 Kyiv Junior World Cup behind Russian gymnast Daria Dmitrieva. She was part of the Ukraine team that won bronze at the 2008 European Junior Championships in Torino.
