Sagat Petchyindee (สกัด เพชรยินดี; born Wirun Phonphimai (วิรุฬห์ ผลพิมาย) on November 30, 1957), also known as Sagat Phonthawee (สกัด พรทวี), is a Thai former professional boxer, Muay Thai fighter, actor and trainer who is considered one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of all time. He was a 3 time Lumpinee Champion, 3 time Rajadammern Champion and Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion. Combat career Muay Thai Sagat Petchyindee (สกัด เพชรยินดี) amassed a total of 317 Thai boxing fights with 266 wins, 40 losses and 11 draws, 151 of those victories coming by way of KO/TKO. The Tristar Gym is a mixed martial arts training centre located in Le Triangle Borough in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Instructors at the gym include Firas Zahabi, Conrad Pla and Georges St-Pierre. Tristar Gym is one of the top professional MMA training camps. History The gym was established in 1991 by Conrad Pla, Michel Lavallée and Ron Di Cecco. The three owners was the basis for the name of the gym. Alexandre Choko joined the gym as a fighter in 1992 and eventually bought the gym in 2001. In 2008 he sold the gym to Firas Zahabi. The World Kickboxing Association (WKA) also known as World Kickboxing and Karate Association, is one of the oldest and the largest amateur and professional sanctioning body for kickboxing and Karate. Lumpinee Boxing Stadium ( th, สนามเวทีมวยลุมพินี) is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The stadium is named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Opened more than a decade later than Rajadamnern Stadium, Lumpinee is run by the Royal Thai Army. It has become the symbol of modern Muay Thai. Only Rajadamnern Stadium rivals the prestige of holding the title of "Muay Thai Champion of Lumpinee".
