''Sacos Plásticos'' ''(Plastic Bags)'' is the thirteenth studio album released by Brazilian rock band Titãs. It is their first studio album since 2003, their longest non-album gap, and also the first released through Arsenal Music and with producer Rick Bonadio, who had already worked with Fresno (band), Fresno, Charlie Brown Jr. and NX Zero. The album has significant influence from electronic elements. It is the last album to feature drummer Charles Gavin, as well as the first album since ''Televisão'' in which he isn't credited for songwriting and composing. The first single from the album, "Antes de Você", was featured at Caras & Bocas (a Rede Globo telenovela) soundtrack, and received radio airplay on May 7. The second single, "Porque Eu Sei que É Amor", was also featured at a Globo's telenovela: ''Cama de Gato''. Charles Gavin
Charles de Souza Gavin (born July 9, 1960) is a Brazilian drummer and music producer, perhaps best known for his 25-year tenure with rock band Titãs. Before Titãs, he had brief stints at Ira! and RPM. Early life and first works At age 8, his friends invited him to participate on the September 7 ( Brazil's Independence Day) festival. The problem was the absence of decent percussion instruments. So, the school decided to improvise these with kitchen utensils. But there was still an instrument remaining, which would be quite difficult for a not so skillful drummer to play. Gavin, who was already used to beat the table at school, was chosen for the job. The band, commanded by Gavin, won the originality prize. In 1975, at the year of 15, living in Jabaquara, Gavin joined ten neighbors, and during the weeks that preceded the Carnaval, they promoted noisy beats around the streets. Andreas Rudolf Kisser (; born 24 August 1968) is a Brazilian musician, best known for being the lead guitarist for the metal band Sepultura. Sérgio Britto (, born Sérgio de Britto Álvares Affonso(September 18, 1959) is a Brazilian musician, best known as a member of the rock band Titãs, for which he contributes with lead vocals, keyboards and, more recently, the bass guitar.
