Saalih Muhammad
Saalih Ghana Muhammad (born August 25, 1995) is an American former soccer player who played as a defensive midfielder. Career After time in the academy teams of Dinamo Zagreb and Portland Timbers, Muhammad returned to Croatia and spent time with the first-teams of HAŠK and Croatia Đakovo, appearing in cup competitions for both. Muhammad came back to the United States again when he signed for North American Soccer League side San Francisco Deltas on February 15, 2017. However, he missed the entirety of the 2017 season after tearing his Achilles tendon in March. On March 15, 2018, Muhammad signed for United Soccer League club Penn FC. On February 21, 2019, Muhammad joined USL side New Mexico United. United Soccer League
United Soccer League (USL), formerly known as United Soccer Leagues, is a Association football, soccer league in the United States and Canada. It organizes several men's and women's leagues, both professional and amateur. The 2020 New Mexico United season was the second season for New Mexico United in the USL Championship (USL-C), the second-tier professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. This article covers the period from November 18, 2019, the day after the 2019 USL-C Playoff Final, to the conclusion of the 2020 USL-C Playoff Final, scheduled for November 12–16, 2020. On March 12 the season was suspended for a minimum of 30 days due to concerns for player and fans health during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2019 USL Championship season is the ninth season of the USL Championship and third under Division II sanctioning. This is the first season in which the league is operating under the name "USL Championship," having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. 2018 United Soccer League Season
The 2018 USL season was the eighth season of the United Soccer League and second under Division II sanctioning. The previous season, the USL had provisional Div. II sanctioning from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) along with the North American Soccer League, but was given full sanctioning for the 2018 season with a two-year deadline to meet the full requirements set by U.S. Soccer. 2018 Penn FC Season
The 2018 season was Penn FC's 15th season of competitive soccer, its second in the second division of American soccer, and its eighth and final season in the United Soccer League, now known as the USL Championship. This was the first season the club operated under the "Penn FC" name, having re-branded from the Harrisburg City Islanders in November 2017. The Hrvatski nogometni kup ( eng, Croatian football cup), also colloquially known as Rabuzinovo sunce (), is an annually held football tournament for Croatian football clubs and is the second most important competition in Croatian football after the HNL championship.
