SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences (formerly known as OTA Hochschule) is a state-accredited private university in Berlin which is part of SRH Holding. The university of applied sciences was founded in 2002. The introduction of English-speaking academic programmes at Bachelor's and Master's level began in 2006. SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences offers Bachelor's, Master's and MBA programmes in German and English. The university of applied sciences is characterised by its international orientation and student body and the various collaborations with partner universities around the globe. There are currently more than 2200 students enrolled at the private university. Rita Süssmuth ( ''née'' Kickuth; ; born 17 February 1937) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). She served as the 10th President of the Bundestag. From 1985 to 1988, she served as Federal Minister for Youth, Family and Health (from 1986 youth, family, ''women'' and health) and from 1988 to 1998 as President of the German Bundestag. With close to 10 years, her tenure was the third longest in the history of the Bundestag. Only Eugen Gerstenmaier and Norbert Lammert held the position longer. Bert Wolfgang Eichhorn (born 1956 in Berlin) is a German lawyer and university lecturer. Life Eichhorn was a lawyer from 1989 to 2010. He received his doctorate in Cologne in 1991. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the topic of state responsibility, reparations and restitution in Germany after the Second World War. Hans-Dieter Kronzucker (born 22 April 1936) is a German journalist and television presenter. Life Kronzucker was born in Munich, the son of an opera singer mother and a father who worked in the tourism industry. He grew up in Cologne and Tegernsee, Bavaria. He attended the Wittelsbacher-Gymnasium in Munich, graduating in 1954; during his time there, he founded and was the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper.
