System Capital Management or SCM ( uk, Систем Кепітал Менеджмент) is a major Ukrainian financial and industrial holding company established in 2000 in Donetsk in the east of the country and since 2014 headquartered in Kyiv. The business is controlled by Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov, who owns 100% of the company shares. In 2011, the group had revenues of around $19.5 billion and assets worth over $28.4 billion. SCM was set up in 2000. It includes over 100 businesses in metals and mining, power generation, banking and insurance, telecommunications, media and real estate as well as in some other spheres. The total number of employees at SCM enterprises is about 200,000 people. The Group is audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lemtrans is a private operator of railway rolling stock in Ukraine. The company claims owning over 20,000 gondola cars which transport over 52 million tons of cargo annually. Lemtrans is a member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations and the European Business Association.
