Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi Sabak Bernam ( en, Sabak Bernam Integrated Fully Residential School, abbreviated INTESABER) is a boarding school located in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. It is one of the Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP), or fully residential boarding schools, in Malaysia. History The school was started on 8 July 2002 with the first intake of students to form a total of 76 people. At that time the number of teachers were 15 people. Puan Hajah Nahyah was the first principal of this school. Mr Jaafar bin Rajuli as Senior Assistant, while Haji Ahmadi bin Abas served as Senior Assistant Student Affairs. Initially, the school was named Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Sabak Bernam. Therefore, the first intake of students this school run by the Selangor State Education Department (JPNS). Sabak Bernam
The Sabak Bernam District is a district and a parliamentary constituency in north-western Selangor, Malaysia. It covers an area of 997 square kilometres, and had a population of 103,153 at the 2010 Census (excluding foreigns). It is situated at the northwestern corner of Selangor. It is bordered by the state of Perak to the north, the district of Hulu Selangor to the east, the district of Kuala Selangor to the south, and the Straits of Malacca to the west. Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP) or Fully Residential School is a school system established in Malaysia to nurture outstanding students to excel in academics and extracurricular activities. Since 2008, SBPs are directly administered by Fully Residential and Excellent Schools Management Division, Ministry of Education. History SBP began in 1890, with Richard Olaf Winstedt as deputy (he later became Director of Education in Malaya). Sepak Takraw
Sepak takraw, or Sepaktakraw, also called kick volleyball, is a team sport played with a ball made of rattan or synthetic plastic between two teams of two to four players on a court resembling a badminton court. It is similar to volleyball and footvolley in its use of a rattan ball and players using only their feet, knees, shoulders, chest and head to touch the ball. Sepak Takraw is often referred to as a mixture of volleyball, due to its use of a net, and association football, as players use their feet. The sport's modern version was introduced, developed and standardized in 1960 when officials from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Myanmar met in Kuala Lumpur to agree on a name and standard rules for it.
