Ryan De Vreede
Ryan de Vreede (born 1 September 1992) is a professional Dutch darts player. He plays in the Professional Darts Corporation events. Career PDC De Vreede's first Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) event was the 2009 German Darts Championship where he lost 6–4 to Vincent van der Voort in the last 64. He entered Qualifying School in January 2013 in an attempt to play full-time in the PDC and almost succeeded in the third event as he reached the final round before being edged out 6–5 by Campbell Jackson. However, after all four days had been completed he had done enough to finish fifth on the Q School Order of Merit and earn a two-year tour card. In May he reached the quarter-finals of the World Youth Championship, but was beaten 6–3 by Arron Monk. De Vreede made his European Tour debut in 2014 at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy and was beaten 6–3 by Adam Hunt in the first round. The 2014 European Darts Open was the sixth of eight PDC European Tour events on the 2014 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the Maritim Hotel in Düsseldorf, Germany, between 11–13 July 2014. It featured a field of 48 players and £100,000 in prize money, with £20,000 going to the winner. Peter Wright won his first European Tour event by beating Simon Whitlock 6–2 in the final. James Hurrell
James Hurrell (born 7 July 1984) is an English darts player. Career BDO Hurrell reached the Last 32 of the 2015 World Masters, he played Martin Phillips and lost 3–2 in sets. He qualified for the 2016 BDO World Darts Championship and was beaten by Larry Butler in the preliminary round, During 2016 he hit a 9 dart finish against Daniel Day. He qualified for the 2018 BDO World Darts Championship but withdrew before the tournament started. Despite the Pandemic causing obvious delays. Hurrell has comeback well and is currently world number 1 in the World Darts Federation world rankings. He has won the Isle of Man Classic beating young prospect Luke Littler. Rowby-John Rodriguez
Rowby-John Rodriguez (born 27 March 1994) is an Austrian professional darts player currently playing in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Career In 2010, as a 16-year-old, Rodriguez won the Austrian National Championship by beating Franz Thaler 5–0 in the final. At the second event of Q School in January 2014 he stood one win away from joining the PDC but lost 5–3 to Gerwyn Price. However, after all four events had been played Rodriguez had done enough to finish ninth on the Q School Order of Merit and earn a two-year tour card. His first PDC major was the UK Open where he was knocked out 5–1 by Tony Randall in the first round. 2016 PDC Pro Tour
The 2016 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Players Championships, UK Open Qualifiers and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. In 2016 there were 36 PDC Pro Tour events held – 20 Players Championships, six UK Open Qualifiers and ten European Tour events. Prize money Prize money for each Players Championship has increased from £60,000 to £75,000 per event. The UK Open Qualifiers and European Tour events stays the same as in 2015. Mensur Suljović
Mensur Suljović (Serbian Cyrillic: Менсур Суљовић; born 5 March 1972) is an Austrian professional darts player. He plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, having previously played in the British Darts Organisation (BDO). Nicknamed The Gentle, Suljović is noted for his unorthodox throwing action and favouring double 14 as his finishing double where possible. Suljović is the number one Austrian player in the PDC and reached his first major final in 2016 at the European Championship. Josh Payne (born 10 December 1993) is an English darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career Payne won his first title in 2013 at a PDC Challenge Tour event by beating Rowby-John Rodriguez 4–3 in the final. He also qualified for the Gibraltar Darts Trophy and beat Wayne Jones 6–2, before losing 6–1 to Dave Chisnall in the second round despite averaging 100.50. Andrew Gilding (born 7 December 1970) is an English professional darts player who plays in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He made his television debut in 2011. Gilding's best result at a PDC major event was reaching the semi-finals of the 2015 UK Open. Career Gilding made his television debut at the 2011 UK Open at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton as a pub qualifier. Nathan Derry (born 15 January 1987 in Gorleston, Norfolk) is an English darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career Derry won a two-year PDC Pro Tour card in January 2015 on the last day of the PDC's Q School. He qualified for the UK Open and beat Alan Tabern 5–4 and Keegan Brown 9–2 to reach the fourth round, where he led Mervyn King 8–5, but would lose 9–8. In the first Players Championship of the year he threw a nine-dart finish in the opening round during a 6–5 defeat to Darren Johnson. Larry Butler (darts Player)
Larry Thomas Butler (born July 21, 1957), nicknamed The Bald Eagle, is an American professional darts player who was the winner of the 1994 PDC World Matchplay Darts Championship. This success made him the first and so far only American player to have won a major darts tournament in Europe. Butler also had some success in his home country, winning the 1993, 1994, 1995 New York Open, the 1994 Darts America Championship, the 1991, 1992, 1993 World Bullshooter Championship, and the 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995 Cincinnati Spring Fling Open. The 2016 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship was the 39th World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 31st staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. The defending men's champion was Scott Mitchell, who won his first world title in 2015, but lost in the Quarter-finals to Richard Veenstra. 2013 world champion Scott Waites won the title by defeating Jeff Smith 7–1 in the final.
