Rogiet Primary School
Rogiet Primary School is located in the village of Rogiet, Monmouthshire, Wales. It caters for pupils aged 4 to 11 years of age. The current catchment area is Rogiet, Highmoor Hill, Five Lanes and Caerwent. Owing to the unusual demographics of Rogiet, with an unusually elderly population in the 1970s and 1980s,This arose from unusual factors involving the closure of the steam railway sheds at Severn Tunnel Junction in the mid-1960s and its associated tied housing. A large expansion of housing in the village from the 1990s onwards made better school provision a pressing need. Caerwent
Caerwent ( cy, Caer-went) is a village and community in Monmouthshire, Wales. It is located about five miles west of Chepstow and 11 miles east of Newport. It was founded by the Romans as the market town of ''Venta Silurum'', an important settlement of the Brythonic Silures tribe. The modern village is built around the Roman ruins, which are some of the best-preserved in Europe.
