Rodrigo Peralta
Rodrigo Peralta (born March 22, 1988) is a Mexican former stock car racing driver. Peralta won the 2013 NASCAR Toyota Series championship by eight points over Daniel Suarez. He competed in 58 NASCAR Mexico series races between 2010 and 2015. During his NASCAR career, Peralta won 2 races, had 25 top ten finishes, and 1 pole position. Autódromo Monterrey
The Autódromo Monterrey is a racetrack in Apodaca, Nuevo León, México, in the Monterrey metropolitan area. The track currently is operated by DIPSA and host races for NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series, NASCAR México, drag racing, karting and Volkswagen Beetle, Volks races. History The track is located front the Del Norte International Airport. The Autódromo was inaugurated in 1970 by Filiberto Jiménez. In the 1970s, 500 km of Monterrey was the main event in this circuit. Layout The track has a long straight (used for drag racing), followed by a chicane (turn 1) which takes the drivers to a hairpin turn. Turn 6 is another chicane, together with T1 was added later. 2014 NASCAR Toyota Series
The 2014 NASCAR Toyota Series was the eighth season of the NASCAR Toyota Series, and the eleventh season organized by NASCAR Mexico. It began with the Toyota 120 at Phoenix International Raceway on February 28, and ended with the Puebla 240 at Autódromo Miguel E. Abed in Puebla, on November 9. Rodrigo Peralta entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Abraham Calderón won his first series championship at Puebla, finishing nine points ahead of Rubén García Jr.; both drivers failed to win any races during the season, but were able to finish strongly in the five-race Desafío, which concluded the season. Calderón achieved eleven top-ten finishes, while Garcia Jr. took ten top-ten finishes. Rubén Rovelo finished third in the championship, eleven points in arrears of Calderón, winning races at Aguascalientes and Tuxtla Gutiérrez. 2012 NASCAR Toyota Series
The 2012 NASCAR Toyota Series was the sixth NASCAR Series and the ninth organized by NASCAR Mexico. It was contested over 14 races. Chihuahua was added to calendar, while Guadalajara which was supposed to return after a one-year hiatus was later cancelled and replaced by Monterrey and Tuxtla Gutiérrez was also removed for the year. Germán Quiroga was the defending Driver's Champion however he left the series to compete in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Teams and drivers 37 drivers competed in the first race.
