Rio Alto Beach
Rio Alto Beach (''Praia do Rio Alto'' in Portuguese, lit. "High River Beach"; sometimes known as Estela Beach) is a beach located in the outskirts of Póvoa de Varzim in Portugal. The beach is located in the civil parish of Estela, the farming area of Póvoa de Vazim. It is regarded as the central focal point of naturism in northern Portugal despite not having official status; although a group attempted for the official status. Póvoa De Varzim
Póvoa de Varzim (, ) is a Portugal, Portuguese city in Norte Region, Portugal, Northern Portugal and sub-region of Greater Porto, from its city centre. It sits in a sandy coastal plain, a cuspate foreland, halfway between the Minho River, Minho and Douro rivers. In 2001, there were 63,470 inhabitants, with 42,396 living in the city proper.
