Requiem (Bracket Album)
''Requiem'' is the sixth album by Californian punk rock band Bracket, released on February 7, 2006 on Takeover Records. The album marks the longest break between the band's studio albums, with over five years separating ''Requiem'' and its predecessor, '' When All Else Fails''. Bracket recorded the album over the course of two years at Trailer Park Studios which was built by drummer Ray Castro, with the help of the other band members, inside an abandoned trailer. ''Requiem'' would be the first album produced entirely by the band, with vocalist/guitarist Marty Gregori and guitarist Angelo Celli picking up all engineering, production and mixing credits. ''Requiem'' consists of "Warren's Song, Pt. 10" through "Warren's Song, Pt. 26", however the tracks don't appear in succession. Despite the similar song titles, the release has been described as the most musically diverse Bracket album to date. In addition to the pop punk sound the band has become known for, the album features ...

Bracket's next two albums '' Novelty Forever'' (1997) and '' When All Else Fails'' (2000) were put out by Fat Wreck Chords, who ...

Caroline Records
Caroline Records is a record label originally founded in 1973. Initially founded in the United Kingdom to showcase British progressive rock groups, the label ceased releasing titles in 1976, and then re-emerged in the United States in 1986. The label released the work of American punk rock, thrash metal and new wave music bands. Caroline had a number of subsidiary labels, including Astralwerks, Gyroscope, Caroline Blue Plate, Beat the World, Scamp and Passenger. UK label The original Caroline record label started as a subsidiary of Richard Branson's Virgin Records from 1973 to 1976. Liner Notes
Liner notes (also sleeve notes or album notes) are the writings found on the sleeves of LP record albums and in booklets that come inserted into the compact disc jewel case or the equivalent packaging for cassettes. Origin Liner notes are descended from the program notes for musical concerts, and developed into notes that were printed on the inner sleeve used to protect a traditional 12-inch vinyl record, i.e., long playing or gramophone record album. The term descends from the name "record liner" or "album liner". Album liner notes survived format changes from vinyl LP to cassette to CD. These notes can be sources of information about the contents of the recording as well as broader cultural topics. Contents Common material Such notes often contained a mix of factual and anecdotal material, and occasionally a discography for the artist or the issuing record label. Liner notes were also an occasion for thoughtful signed essays on the artist by another party, often a sympathetic ...

Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer. Acoustic string instrumentations had long been a subset of popular music, particularly in folk. It stood in contrast to various other types of music in various eras, including big band music in the pre-rock era, and electric music in the rock era. Music reviewer Craig Conley suggests, "When music is labeled acoustic, unplugged, or unwired, the assumption seems to be that other types of music are ''cluttered'' by technology and overproduction and therefore aren't as ''pure''." Types of acoustic instruments Acoustic instruments can be split into six groups: string instruments, wind instruments, percussion, other instruments, ensemble i ...
