Bracket (band)
Bracket is an American rock band from Forestville, California formed in 1992. The lineup consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Marty Gregori, bassist and backing vocalist Zack Charlos, drummer Ray Castro, and guitarist and backing vocalist Angelo Celli, who replaced Larry Tinney in 1998. Bracket has issued numerous albums, EPs and singles since its inception, including many releases for Caroline Records and Fat Wreck Chords. Their sound could most easily be described as power pop influenced punk rock with a continued focus on vocal harmonies. Bracket emerged during the pop punk resurgence of the early 1990s and released its first two albums '' 924 Forestville St.'' (1994) and '' 4-Wheel Vibe'' (1995) on Caroline Records. Following a staff shake-up, the label dropped the group and cancelled the release of its third album ''Like You Know'' in 1996. Forestville, California
Forestville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sonoma County, California, United States. It was settled during the late 1860s and was originally spelled Forrestville after one of its founders. The spelling long ago became standardized with one "r". The population was 3,293 at the 2010 census, an increase of nearly 1,000 since the 2000 census. By 1900, the community was known for attracting writers and artists and had a bohemian reputation. The small town has a limited number of businesses. History and features Forestville's unofficial motto is "Forestville, The Good Life." This phrase appears on license plate holders sold at the local hardware store. The major road through town is Front Street for the length of the town, a distance of about three blocks, between Covey Road and Mirabel Road. It has been made part of Highway 116. ''4-Wheel Vibe'' is the second album by American punk rock band Bracket, released by Caroline Records on May 16, 1995. Produced by Don Fleming, ''4-Wheel Vibe'' expanded on the pop punk sound of their debut '' 924 Forestville St.'' and began to showcase a wider range of songwriting. In addition to music videos for "Trailer Park" and "Circus Act", leftover songs from the album's sessions were released the following year on the ''4 Rare Vibes'' EP. Bracket released alternate versions of several tracks from ''4-Wheel Vibe'' on Rare Cuts' in 2013. An answering machine, answerphone or message machine, also known as telephone messaging machine (or TAM) in the UK and some Commonwealth countries, ansaphone or ansafone (from a trade name), or telephone answering device (TAD), was used for answering telephones and recording callers' messages. Creedence Clearwater Revival, also referred to as Creedence and CCR, was an American rock band formed in El Cerrito, California. The band initially consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty; his brother, rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty; bassist Stu Cook; and drummer Doug Clifford. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were an American rock band from Gainesville, Florida. Formed in 1976, the band originally comprised lead singer and rhythm guitarist Tom Petty, lead guitarist Mike Campbell, keyboardist Benmont Tench, drummer Stan Lynch and bassist Ron Blair. In 1982, Blair, weary of the touring lifestyle, departed the band. His replacement, Howie Epstein, stayed with the band for the next two decades. Requiem (Bracket Album)
''Requiem'' is the sixth album by Californian punk rock band Bracket, released on February 7, 2006 on Takeover Records. The album marks the longest break between the band's studio albums, with over five years separating ''Requiem'' and its predecessor, '' When All Else Fails''. Bracket recorded the album over the course of two years at Trailer Park Studios which was built by drummer Ray Castro, with the help of the other band members, inside an abandoned trailer. ''Requiem'' would be the first album produced entirely by the band, with vocalist/guitarist Marty Gregori and guitarist Angelo Celli picking up all engineering, production and mixing credits. ''Requiem'' consists of "Warren's Song, Pt. 10" through "Warren's Song, Pt. 26", however the tracks don't appear in succession.
