Pope Gregory I ( la, Gregorius I; – 12 March 604), commonly known as Saint Gregory the Great, was the bishop of Rome from 3 September 590 to his death. Reijo Hakanen (born August 20, 1943) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga for Ilves. Reijo Juhani Mäki (born 12 October 1958 in Siikainen, Satakunta) is a Finnish writer of crime fiction. Mäki published his first novel ''Enkelipölyä'' in 1985. His most well-known character is private detective Jussi Vares who was first introduced in the novel ''Moukanpeli'' released in 1986. A total of 25 novels about Jussi Vares have been published to date (in addition to his other non-Vares books). Reijo Ruotsalainen (born April 1, 1960) is a Finnish former ice hockey defenceman. He was twice named Finland's top defenceman, and won two Stanley Cups with the Edmonton Oilers, in 1987 and 1990. Playing career Ruotsalainen started his career in Kärpät. Nicknamed "Reksa" or "Rexi", he was recognized as a talented defenseman while playing for Kärpät junior teams. Kärpät was promoted to SM-liiga from 1. Divisioona for the 1977–78 season, and Ruotsalainen played 30 games and posted 23 points in his first SM-liiga season. Reijo Einar Ståhlberg (born 21 September 1952 in Ekenäs, Finland) is a 194 cm former Finnish shot putter whose competitive weight was 128 kg. He holds the Finnish shot put record of 21.69 meters and represented Finland in the 1976 and 1980 Olympics, placing 11th and 4th respectively.
