Rårup
Rårup is a village in Hedensted Municipality in the Mid Jutland Region of Denmark. With 423 inhabitants (2022), Rårup is located in Rårup Parish (''sogn'') 13 km northwest of the town of Juelsminde, 14 km southeast of the city of Horsens and 16 km east of the town of Hedensted. Rårup Church is located in the village. Rårup Hal is located in the village. In the village's church named Sct. Mikkel Bjørn
Mikkel Bjørn Sørensen (born 19 October 1995) is a Danish politician and former teacher. In November 2022, he became a member of the Folketing for the Nye Borgerlige (NB) party, but in January 2023 changed his party allegiance to the Danish People's Party (DF). Formerly, in 2016-2021 he was the first national chairman of Nye Borgerlige's youth wing. Growing up near Juelsminde in Jutland, Bjørn has since 2022 lived in Nyborg on Funen. Regions Of Denmark
The five Regions of Denmark ( da, regioner) were created as administrative entities at a level above the municipalities and below the central government in the public sector as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, when the 13 counties ('' amter'') were abolished. At the same time, the number of municipalities ('' kommuner'') was cut from 270 to 98. The reform was approved and made into a law by the lawmakers in the Folketing 26 June 2005 with elections to the 98 municipalities and 5 regions being held Tuesday 15 November 2005. Each region is governed by a popularly elected regional council with 41 members, from whom the regional chairperson is chosen. The main responsibility of the regions is healthcare. Central Denmark Region
The Central Denmark Region ( da, Region Midtjylland), or more directly translated as the Central Jutland Region and sometimes simply Mid Jutland, is an administrative region of Denmark established on 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish municipal reform. The reform abolished the traditional counties (''amter'') and replaced them with five new administrative regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the total number of municipalities from 271 to 98. The reform diminished the power of the regional level dramatically in favour of the local level and the national government in Copenhagen. The Central Denmark Region comprises 19 municipalities. Hedensted Kommune is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Midtjylland formed out of three former municipalities, one of which with the same name, 1 January 2007 on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark.
