Hedensted Municipality
Hedensted Kommune is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Midtjylland formed out of three former municipalities, one of which with the same name, 1 January 2007 on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. Its seat and main town is Hedensted. Overview The coastal town municipality south of Aarhus, and sandwiched in between Horsens and Vejle, and bordering Ikast-Brande Municipality to the northwest, covers an area of 551.36 km² and has a total population of 46,747 (1 January 2019). The main town and the site of its municipal council is the inland town of Hedensted. Its mayor from 1 January 2018 is Kasper Glyngø, a member of the Social Democratic Party. The first deputy mayor is Hans Kristian Skibby from the Danish People's Party. Municipalities Of Denmark
Denmark is divided into five regions of Denmark, regions, which contain 98 municipalities ( da, kommuner , sing.: ). Liberal Alliance (Denmark)
The Liberal Alliance ( in Danish) is a classical liberal and right-libertarian political party in Denmark. The party is a component of the centre-right bloc in Danish politics. The party's platform is based upon economic liberalism, promotion of tax cuts and reduction of welfare programmes, and a critical, oppositional stance towards European integration. Socialist People's Party (Denmark)
The Green Left ( da, Socialistisk Folkeparti, SF) is a democratic socialist political party in Denmark. It was formerly known in English as the Socialist People's Party, the literal translation of its Danish name. History 1959–1969 The SF was founded on 15 February 1959 by Aksel Larsen, a former leader of the Communist Party of Denmark (DKP). Larsen was removed from the ranks of the DKP for his criticism over the Soviet intervention in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Larsen and the new SF sought to form a third way between Denmark's United States-oriented social democracy and Soviet Union–oriented communism, which sought to combine democracy with socialism. The Conservative People's Party ( da, Det Konservative Folkeparti, DKF), also known as The Conservatives () is a conservative centre-right political party in Denmark. The party is a member of the European People's Party (EPP) and International Democrat Union. East Jutland metropolitan area ( da, Byregion Østjylland) is a potential metropolitan area in Jutland and Funen, Denmark. Aarhus is the most populated city in the region. The National Planning Report of 2006, published by the Danish Environment Ministry, argued that “East Jutland is developing into a coherent area with high population growth and division of labour between the cities in the urban band that extends from Kolding to Randers” and foresaw “the contours of a future million-city”. The report recommended dialogue about future development between the state, the region and the municipalities. In the next National Planning Report of 2013, the area was split into East Jutland North ( da, Østjylland Nord) and the Triangle Region ( da, Trekantsområdet ).
