Ryan Montbleau
Ryan Michael Montbleau (born June 18, 1977, in Peabody, Massachusetts, United States) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. He annually tours across the U.S. with the Ryan Montbleau Band. Background Although he received his first guitar at age nine, it was not until attending college at Villanova University that he seriously began to focus on his playing and songwriting. After college, Montbleau began playing on his own at the House of Blues in Boston, where he started working in 1999. Eventually, Montbleau began performing his original music on-stage at the House of Blues and other Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston area coffee shops, folk and music venues, developing a local fan base. He occasionally performed his music with a percussion player, under the duo name "Palabra", before building what would become the Ryan Montbleau Band. Peabody () is a city in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 54,481 at the time of the 2020 United States Census. Peabody is located in the North Shore region of Massachusetts, and is known for its rich industrial history. History The area was long inhabited by Native American people known as the Naumkeag. The area was settled as part of Salem in 1626 by a small group of English colonists from Cape Ann led by Roger Conant. It was subsequently referred to as the Northfields, Salem Farms, and Brooksby. Angela Maria "Ani" DiFranco (; born September 23, 1970) is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk rock and alternative rock, although it has additional influences from punk, funk, hip hop and jazz. She has released all her albums on her own record label, Righteous Babe. Tall Heights
Tall Heights is an electrofolk duo based in Boston, USA. The group was formed in 2009 and consists of the singer/guitarist Tim Harrington and the singer/cellist Paul Wright. Tours have also had the percussionist/singer Paul Dumas. Their albums are ''Man of Stone'', ''Neptune'' and ''Pretty Colors For Your Actions''. Biography Harrington and Wright met in their home town of Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Collings Guitars is an Austin, Texas based stringed instrument manufacturer. The company was founded in 1973 by ''Bill'' ''Collings'' (August 9, 1948 – July 14, 2017). In addition to acoustic guitars they also make electric guitars, archtop guitars, mandolins, and ukuleles. Company history Collings attended Ohio University as a pre-med student in the early 1970s, yet withdrew from his studies in order to work in machining, which he continued for five years.
