Ryan (TV Series)
''Ryan'' is an Australian adventure television series screened by the Seven Network from 27 May 1973. The series was produced by Crawford Productions and had a run of 39 one-hour episodes.Moran, Albert. Everett De Roche
Everett De Roche (July 12, 1946 - April 2, 2014) was an American-Australian screenwriter who worked extensively in the Australian film and TV industry. He was best known for his work in the thriller and horror genre, with such credits as ''Long Weekend'', '' Patrick'' and '' Roadgames''. Career De Roche was born in Lincoln, Maine and moved to San Diego with his family when he was six. De Roche emigrated to Australia with his wife when he was 22 in 1968 and originally worked as a journalist for the Queensland Health Education Council. He wanted to be a writer and wrote a spec script for '' Division Four''. Nine months later he received a telegram inviting him to write for the show. From 1970-74 he was a staff writer at Crawford Productions mainly working on police shows, then he freelanced. William Froug
William Froug (May 26, 1922 – August 25, 2013) was an American television writer and producer. His producing credits included the series ''The Twilight Zone'', ''Gilligan's Island'', and ''Bewitched''. He was a writer for, among other shows, '' The Dick Powell Show'', ''Charlie's Angels'', and '' Adventures in Paradise''. He authored numerous books on screenwriting, including ''Screenwriting Tricks of the Trade'', ''Zen and the Art of Screenwriting I and II, The Screenwriter Looks at The Screenwriter'', and ''How I Escaped from Gilligan's Island: Adventures of a Hollywood Writer-Producer,'' published in 2005 by the University of Wisconsin Press. Ron McLean (writer)
Ron McLean (1943–1983) was an Australian screenwriter, producer and executive producer, best known for his work on TV. He wrote most of the episodes for ''Spyforce'', which he helped create. He had a long collaboration with producer Roger Mirams. Biography McLean was running a woman's shoe shop in Double Bay, Sydney when he read an article about a TV series being made in Australia, ''Riptide'' (1969). He sent them a couple of stories which the show liked and he taught himself how to adapt them into scripts. He wrote some episodes of '' Skippy the Bush Kangaroo'' and did sketches for ''The Mavis Bramston Show''. He came much in demand in the early 70s, writing a number of shows for Crawford Productions.
