	We Of The Never Never (film) ''We of the Never Never'' is a 1982 Australian drama film directed by Igor Auzins and starring Angela Punch McGregor, Arthur Dignam, John Jarratt, and Tony Barry. It is based on the 1908 autobiographical novel '' We of the Never Never'' by Jeannie Gunn. It was nominated for five AFI awards and earned one award for best cinematography. Plot The film focuses on the life of Jeannie, an educated woman from the upper-middle class of society, and her story of adapting to life in the outback of Australia. 	Police Rescue ''Police Rescue'' is an Australian television series which originally aired on ABC TV between 1989 and 1996. It was produced by ABC and Southern Star Xanadu in association with the BBC. Apart from the 61 episodes, there was a 90-minute pilot episode (first screened in 1989) as well as a feature film in 1994, starring Zoe Carides. The series dealt with the New South Wales Police Rescue Squad based in Sydney and their work attending to various incidents from road accidents to train crashes. The show was very well received for the first four series, however a decline in ratings by the commencement of the 1996 series saw the cancellation of the show, following an almost epitaph in the final three episodes. 	Wildside (Australian TV Series) ''Wildside'' is an Australian crime drama television series broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 1997 to 1999. It was created by director Michael Jenkins and producer Ben Gannon. ''Wildside'' began as a 180-minute miniseries which aired over two nights on November 23, 1997 and November 24, 1997. It returned on February 4, 1998 in a one-hour format. The show stars Tony Martin as Bill McCoy, a former detective who comes to Sydney looking for his missing son.
