Ruthvika Shivani Gadde
Gadde Ruthvika Shivani ( te, గద్దె రుత్విక శివాని; born 26 March 1997) is an Indian badminton player who currently plays singles. She trains at the Gopichand Badminton Academy. Childhood and Early Training Gadde Ruthvika Shivani, the daughter of G. Bhavani Prasad and G. Prameela Rani, was born in a Telugu family on 26 March 1997. Her father is a small business man and her mother is a homemaker and Shivani's elder brother is G. S. Chaitanya Prasad. Shivani getting interested in playing badminton at the age of five, she used to go along with his father to play with club members at Khammam's Sequel Resorts. Her father and his friends noticed her keen interest to the sport, from then she started playing it every single day and make it as a career. Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy (PGBA) is a badminton training facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Founded in 2008 by the 2001 All England Open Badminton Champion, Pullela Gopichand, the facility trains several badminton players such as Saina Nehwal, P. V. Sindhu, Srikanth Kidambi, Parupalli Kashyap, H.S. Prannoy, Sai Praneeth, Sameer Verma and many others. History By the time he won the All England Open Badminton Championships in 2001, Pullela Gopichand was already 27 years old and was struggling with a few injuries. With not many playing years left, Gopichand decided to bring a world-class training facility for the next generation. With that intention, Gopichand decided to form a badminton academy. Liang Xiaoyu (; born 11 January 1996) is a Chinese-born Singaporean former badminton player. She is a one-time Olympian and a former national champion. Early life Liang was born on 11 January 1996, in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. She started playing badminton at a very young age under the influence of her father, a badminton trainer. She began to receive professional badminton training at the age of 7, and later became the champion of the Jiangsu's province junior team. Liang migrated to Singapore with his parents at the age of 10 and became a Singapore citizen in 2011. She became a member of the Singapore national badminton team in May 2011. Hyderabad Hotshots was a badminton franchise team representing the city of Hyderabad in the Indian Badminton League(IBL). The team was one of the six franchises in the inaugural IBL 2013. The franchise was owned by Andhra Pradesh’s multi business group PVP Ventures.PVP Group owned Hyderabad Hotshots in IBL. Premier Badminton League (PBL) is a team badminton league operating in India. Sportz & Live Private Limited (Sportzlive) has the rights to operate and execute the Premier Badminton League. The inaugural season of PBL was held from 2 to 17 January 2016. Delhi Dashers (formerly Delhi Acers) defeated Mumbai Rockets in the final to clinch the title. The second season began on 22 December 2016 and came to end on 14 January 2017 with the Chennai Smashers headed by P. V. Sindhu clinching the title in the finals.
