Rudolph Schild
Rudolph E. Schild (born 10 January 1940) is an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Center for Astrophysics Harvard & Smithsonian, who has been active since the mid-1960s. He has authored or contributed to over 250 papers, of which 150 are in refereed journals. He is married to mezzo-soprano Jane Struss, who teaches voice at Longy School of Music. Schild is a proponent of "magnetospheric eternally collapsing objects" (MECOs), an alternative to black holes. These results are most often published in ''Journal of Cosmology'', an astronomy journal edited by Schild himself, while his other research is published in mainstream astronomy journals such as ''MNRAS'' and the ''Astronomical Journal''. He is a guest and speaker on Caroline Cory’s film Gods Among Us, where he gives his scientific perspective on the subject of extraterrestrial beings and telepathy. Longy School Of Music
Longy School of Music of Bard College is a private music school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1915 as the Longy School of Music, it was one of the four independent degree-granting music schools in the Boston region along with the New England Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, and Boston Conservatory. Magnetospheric Eternally Collapsing Object
The magnetospheric eternally collapsing object (MECO) is an alternative model for black holes initially proposed by Indian scientist Abhas Mitra in 1998 and later generalized by American researchers Darryl J. Leiter and Stanley L. Robertson. A proposed observable difference between MECOs and black holes is that a MECO can produce its own intrinsic magnetic field. An uncharged black hole cannot produce its own magnetic field, though its accretion disc can. Theoretical model In the theoretical model a MECO begins to form in much the same way as a black hole, with a large amount of matter collapsing inward toward a single point. However, as it becomes smaller and denser, a MECO does not form an event horizon. As the matter becomes denser and hotter, it glows more brightly. ''The Astronomical Journal'' (often abbreviated ''AJ'' in scientific papers and references) is a peer-reviewed monthly scientific journal owned by the American Astronomical Society (AAS) and currently published by IOP Publishing. It is one of the premier journals for astronomy in the world. Until 2008, the journal was published by the University of Chicago Press on behalf of the AAS. The reasons for the change to the IOP were given by the society as the desire of the University of Chicago Press to revise its financial arrangement and their plans to change from the particular software that had been developed in-house. The ''Journal of Cosmology'' describes itself as a peer-reviewed open access journal, open access scientific journal of cosmology, although the quality of the process has been questioned. The journal has been closely related historically with a similar online website, ''Cosmology'' (or ''Cosmology.com'') and ''Journal of Astrobiology and Space Science Reviews''., as all three were founded by neuroscientist Rhawn Gabriel Joseph. Rhawn Joseph established the journal in 2009, published by Cosmology Science Publishers, and it was sold to Modern Cosmology Associates in 2011. Rudolph Schild is the editor-in-chief. As of October 2021, the original domain is now "astrology & spirituality website" based in the Netherlands. Black Hole
A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravitation, gravity is so strong that nothing, including light or other Electromagnetic radiation, electromagnetic waves, has enough energy to escape it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole. The boundary (topology), boundary of no escape is called the event horizon. Although it has a great effect on the fate and circumstances of an object crossing it, it has no locally detectable features according to general relativity. In many ways, a black hole acts like an ideal black body, as it reflects no light. Moreover, quantum field theory in curved spacetime predicts that event horizons emit Hawking radiation, with thermal radiation, the same spectrum as a black body of a temperature inversely proportional to its mass. It has been in continuous existence since 1827 and publishes letters and papers reporting original research in relevant fields.
