RoxorLoops
Senjka Danhieux (born 28 April 1984, in Jette), better known under his stage name RoxorLoops, is a Belgian beatboxer and songwriter. He currently lives in Denmark, where he studied vocal leading and singing at the Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg. Career Early career In 2004, Danhieux won the Belgian Beatboxing Championship. One year later, he competed in the Beatbox Battle World Championship, in which he won second place. In 2006, he was a part of the group Beatoxic, which performed the song "Feel Like" in the second heat of '' Eurosong '06'', the Belgian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, but failed to qualify for the semi-finals. Beatbox Battle World Championship
The Beatbox Battle World Championship (BBBWC) is hosted triennially (every three years) hosted by Beatbox Battle Tv in a week-long festival held in Berlin, Germany. Face-to-face beatbox battles take place in five different categories:- individual male, individual female, tag-team, loop station and crew battle. In 2015, more than 150 national or major event champions of beatboxing gathered from 50 or so countries, after qualifying to participate in the world event by winning their respective national championships. With Love Baby
Belgium participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "With Love Baby" written by RoxorLoops and Benoît Giaux. The song was performed by the group Witloof Bay. The Belgian entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany was selected through the national final ''Eurovision 2011: Qui? A vous de choisir!'', organised by the Walloon broadcaster Radio Télévision Belge de la Communauté Française (RTBF). The competition featured thirty competing entries and consisted of two shows. In the final on 30 January 2011, "With Love Baby" performed by Witloof Bay was selected as the winner via the votes of a four-member jury panel and a public televote. Belgium was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May 2011. Witloof Bay
Witloof Bay is a Belgian a cappella group. Biography In 2005 six friends who all shared a love of jazz, pop, a cappella and beatbox decided to perform as a group. They took their inspiration from The Real Group, Take 6, The Swingle Singers and The Singers Unlimited. The band sing both in English and French. The band members themselves also come from all parts of the Belgian kingdom: Wallonia, Flanders and Brussels, thus the group believes they truly represent Belgium as a whole. In 2008 the group released their first eponymously titled album. Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (), also known as Melodi Grand Prix or simply DMGP, is an annual music competition organised by the Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) since 1957, which determines the for the Eurovision Song Contest. The festival has produced three Eurovision winners and fourteen top-five placings. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
