Route 41 is a highway in central Missouri. Its northern terminus is at U.S. Route 24 in southern Carroll County; its southern terminus is at Interstate 70/U.S. Route 40 west of Boonville, where the road continues south as Route 135. Route 41 is one of the original state highways. Its original northern terminus was at the Missouri River and its southern terminus was in Marshall. Brunswick is a rural city in Chariton County, Missouri, United States. Its population was 801 at the 2020 census. Brunswick, by official state proclamation, is the Pecan Capital of Missouri. Boonville is a city and the county seat of Cooper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 7,964 at the 2020 census. The city was the site of a skirmish early in the Civil War, on July 17, 1861. Union forces defeated the Missouri State Guard in the first Battle of Boonville. It is part of the Columbia, Missouri metropolitan area. Interstate 70 (Missouri)
Interstate 70 (I-70) in the US state of Missouri is generally parallel to the Missouri River. This section of the transcontinental Interstate begins at the Kansas state line on the Lewis and Clark Viaduct, running concurrently with U.S. Route 24 (US 24), US 40, and US 169, and the east end is on the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge in St. Louis. Route description Crossing into Missouri on the Lewis and Clark Viaduct, I-70 immediately encounters the Alphabet Loop, a small but complex loop of freeways with all of its exits having the number 2 and a letter suffix that uses the entire alphabet (except I, O, and Z). I-70 runs concurrently with I-35 once it enters into the Loop. Both Interstates maintain the concurrency until they approach the northeastern corner of the Loop. Route 135 is a highway in central Missouri. Its northern terminus is at Interstate 70/ U.S. Route 40/ Route 41 west of Boonville; its southern terminus is at Route 5 near the Lake of the Ozarks. It passes through Cooper, Pettis, and Morgan counties. Route 20 (Missouri)
Route 20 is a highway in central Missouri. Its eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 65 Business in Marshall; its western terminus is at Route 13 in Higginsville. Route 20 was one of the original 1922 highways. Its eastern terminus was originally at Huntsville at Route 10 (now U.S. Route 24). Its western terminus was originally in Kansas City at Route 1. In 1926, the section west of Waverly became part of U.S. Route 24 and the section from Waverly to Marshall became part of U.S. Route 65. In 1933/1934, Route 20 was extended west on its current alignment to Higginsville. This section had been planned as Route 96 (Odessa to Marshall) in 1922, but was soon dropped from the state highway system.
