Rosy Afsari
Rosy Afsary (also Rosy Samad, 23 April 1946 – 9 March 2007) was an actress in the Bangladeshi film industry. She was awarded the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in its first ceremony in 1975 for her role in the film ''Lathial''. Career Afsary started her career in 1964 through ''Eito Jibon'' film. She appeared in over 200 Bengali films and always played a positive sad role. She also acted in 25 Urdu films. She was President of Zia Sangskritik Parishad (Zisus). Personal life Afsary was first married to filmmaker Abdus Samad. Then in 1981, she married filmmaker Malek Afsary and changed her surname to Rosy Afsary. Her sister Parveen Ahmed Ruhi was wife of veteran Actor Washim. Titash Ekti Nadir Naam
''Titas Ekti Nadir Naam'' ( bn, তিতাস একটি নদীর নাম), or ''A River Called Titas'', is a 1973 film that was a joint production between India and Bangladesh directed by Ritwik Ghatak. The movie was based on a novel by the same name, written by Adwaita Mallabarman. The movie explores the life of the fishermen on the bank of the Titas River in Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. Sarah Begum Kabori (also Kabori Sarwar; born Mina Pal, 19 July 1950 – 17 April 2021) was a Bangladeshi film actress and politician. Her notable films include ''Sutorang'', ''Sareng Bou'', ''Abhirbhab'', ''Shat Bhai Champa'', ''Sujon Sokhi'' and ''Lalon Fokir''. Anwar Hossain (6 December 1931 – 13 September 2013) was a Bangladeshi actor, best known for playing the role of Siraj ud-Daulah in the Bengali film Nawab Sirajuddaula (1967). Farida Akhtar Poppy, known by her stage name Babita, is a Bangladeshi film actress. She is a popular actress in Bangladeshi films of the 1970s. Ritwik Kumar Ghatak (; 4 November 19256 February 1976) was a noted Indian film director, screenwriter, and playwright. Along with prominent contemporary Bengali filmmakers Satyajit Ray, Tapan Sinha and Mrinal Sen, his cinema is primarily remembered for its meticulous depiction of social reality, partition and feminism. Chashi Nazrul Islam (11 October 1941 – 11 January 2015) was a Bangladeshi film director and producer. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Director twice for the films Shuvoda (1986) and Hangor Nodi Grenade (1997). He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2004 by the Government of Bangladesh. Abdur Razzak (23 January 1942 – 21 August 2017) (known as Razzak) was a Bangladeshi actor and film director. He was dubbed Nayak Raj Razzak (King of Heroes), a term introduced by Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury, editor of the magazine ''Chitrali''.
