Rose Jacobs
Rose Jacobs is a weather presenter, travel expert and television host. Career Jacobs has worked in various capacities with The Weather Channel beginning in 2005, including roles such as snow reporter, senior producer as well as the morning weather anchor for the Channel. She then went on to present on the Seven Network's travel and lifestyle program, '' Sydney Weekender'', airing 5:30pm Saturday evenings from 2008 to 2014. Prior to her role with The Weather Channel Jacobs worked in a variety of television and radio roles in Australia as a producer and as a presenter for the Nine Network's Boatique program, as well as the Today Show, Sky News, Radio 2UE, and The Australian Radio Network. She has a combined degree in Television Journalism and International Politics and has also completed a Meteorological training course at the Bureau of Meteorology in Melbourne. ''Sydney Weekender'' is an Australian travel show featuring destinations throughout the state of New South Wales. The program debuted in 1994 on Saturdays at 5:30pm, later moving to Sundays at the same time before the local nightly news bulletin. It is hosted by Matt Shirvington and airs on the Seven Network in New South Wales and nationally on 7Two. The program visits various locations in the state highlighting activities, attractions, and dining options. ''Sydney Weekender'' reached a milestone of 750 episodes on 18 August 2012. Steven Jacobs (born 8 January 1967) is an Australian actor, comedian, TV and radio presenter and writer. Jacobs, currently a radio presenter with ''Nine Radio'', was previously best known as weather presenter on the Nine Network's breakfast program ''Today''. Career Jacobs was born in Wollongong, New South Wales. Before he made it to national television, he hosted a children's news program known as ''Kids News'', which was produced at WIN Television studios in Wollongong.
