Rosario Tijeras (film)
''Rosario Tijeras'' is a 2005 film directed by and written by Marcelo Figueras based on the book of the same name by Jorge Franco. It stars Flora Martínez as the title character alongside Unax Ugalde and Manolo Cardona. It is a co-production among companies from Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Brazil, and France. It is reportedly the second highest-grossing film in Colombian history. Plot The movie, based on a novel by Jorge Franco, deals with the life of a beautiful woman involved with the subculture of sicarios, the motorcycle-riding hitmen of the slums of Medellín, Colombia, in the late 1980s-early 1990s. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. In the 1970s the magazine was part of the Nadal Group. New categories were added over time to the award which were renamed Fotogramas de Plata and in 2012 they absorbed the TP de Oro awards. In 2011, the magazine was acquired by Hearst Communications. In 2018, Hearst closed the editorial office in Barcelona in order to centralize editing efforts in Madrid. ''Mi Sangre'' (''My Blood'') is the third studio album by Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes, released on September 28, 2004. Re-releases In 2005, a 'Tour Edition' of the album was released. This specially packaged re-release of ''Mi Sangre'' is an individually numbered, limited edition of 150,000 copies. Within its triple gatefold are two booklets — the CD's lyric book, a fold-out booklet with full credits of the current version, and many press quotes. The CD contains the regular album's 12 tracks, live versions of "A Dios le Pido," "La Camisa Negra," " Fotografía," and " Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor". Bonus tracks include "La Paga", which features Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas, a remix of "La Camisa Negra," and the unreleased track "Lo Que Importa". In 2000, his solo debut album ''Fíjate Bien'' won three Latin Grammy Awards. Juanes has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide. Raised in Colombia, Juanes began playing piano at age two. When Juanes was 17, he started his first band, Ekhymosis, in 1988, which went on to release eight albums, achieving recognition in his native country of Colombia. The Málaga Film Festival, formerly Málaga Spanish Film Festival (FMCE), is an annual film festival held in Málaga, Spain. The festival was established to promote Spanish cinema and help disseminate information about Spanish films. Since 2017, it features an additional focus on Ibero-American films.
