Ronny Fredrik Ansnes
Ronny Fredrik Ansnes (28 June 1989 – c.15 July 2018) was a Norwegian cross-country skier. He made his World Cup debut in February 2011 in Drammen, also breaking the top 15-barrier with a 13th place in the 15 kilometre race. He also finished second in a relay race in November 2011 in Sjusjøen. Ansnes also contested the Holmenkollen 50 kilometre race in 2012 and 2013 and a World Cup race in La Clusaz in January 2013 before retiring in 2014. He also won an individual silver medal at the Norwegian Championships, the 15 kilometre race in 2012, as well as a relay bronze medal in 2010. He hailed from Klæbu and represented the sports club Byåsen IL Byåsen Idrettslag is a multi-sport club from Trondheim, Norway. Meldal
Meldal is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020 when it joined Orkland Municipality. It was part of the Orkdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Meldal. Other villages included Løkken Verk, Bjørnli, Å, and Storås. The municipality was most renowned for its mining activities at Løkken Verk, being the birthplace of the ''Orkla mining company'', now Orkla Group. It was also home to the annual Storåsfestivalen music festival. At the time of its dissolution in 2020, the municipality was the 184th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. The ''Fédération internationale de ski et de snowboard'' (FIS; en, International Ski and Snowboard Federation) is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. Sjur Røthe
Sjur Røthe (born 2 July 1988) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. He is a three-time World champion. Career He made his World Cup debut in March 2009 in Trondheim, but did not finish the race, and collected his first World Cup points in November 2009 in Beitostølen, with an eighteenth place. A fifteenth place in a 4 × 10 km relay race followed. He represents the sports club Voss IL, and lives in Oslo. He was diagnosed with Bekhterev's disease. Morten Eilifsen (born January 6, 1984) is a Norwegian cross-country skier who competed between 2004 and 2014. His best World Cup finish was ninth in a 15 km event in Norway in 2007. Eilifsen's lone win was in the 4 × 10 km relay in Sweden in 2008. Byåsen Idrettslag is a multi-sport club from Trondheim, Norway. It has sections for association football (one for elite, one for women's and one for grassroots football), athletics, handball (one for elite and one for grassroots handball), orienteering, Nordic skiing, and cycling.
