Morten Eilifsen (born January 6, 1984) is a Norwegian cross-country skier who competed between 2004 and 2014. His best World Cup finish was ninth in a 15 km event in Norway in 2007. Eilifsen's lone win was in the 4 × 10 km relay in Sweden in 2008. Eldar Rønning (born 11 June 1982 in Levanger) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier. He skis with the Skogn IL club, in Nord-Trøndelag. Career In 2004/05, he achieved three podium finishes in World Cup Sprint events, including a win at Reit im Winkl. He finished the season in 10th, 235 points behind overall winner Axel Teichmann. He was 62nd in the distance standings, 520 points behind Teichmann, and came second in the sprint discipline, 237 points behind fellow countryman Tor Arne Hetland. He also came second in the sprint discipline at the Norwegian national championships. Rønning shared the 2005/06 season between the World Cup and the Scandinavian Cup, competing almost exclusively in sprints. Sjur Røthe (born 2 July 1988) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. He is a three-time World champion. Career He made his World Cup debut in March 2009 in Trondheim, but did not finish the race, and collected his first World Cup points in November 2009 in Beitostølen, with an eighteenth place. A fifteenth place in a 4 × 10 km relay race followed. He represents the sports club Voss IL, and lives in Oslo. He was diagnosed with Bekhterev's disease. Ronny Fredrik Ansnes
Ronny Fredrik Ansnes (28 June 1989 – c.15 July 2018) was a Norwegian cross-country skier. He made his World Cup debut in February 2011 in Drammen, also breaking the top 15-barrier with a 13th place in the 15 kilometre race. He also finished second in a relay race in November 2011 in Sjusjøen. Ansnes also contested the Holmenkollen 50 kilometre race in 2012 and 2013 and a World Cup race in La Clusaz in January 2013 before retiring in 2014. He also won an individual silver medal at the Norwegian Championships, the 15 kilometre race in 2012, as well as a relay bronze medal in 2010. Sjusjøen is a cross country skiing destination in the municipality of Ringsaker in Innlandet county, Norway. Situated on the mountain plateau south of Sjusjøen is Hedmarksvidda. The area is located with forest and mountain terrain about above sea level. This area is located about east of the town of Lillehammer. Martin Johnsrud Sundby (born 26 September 1984) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier who competed between 2003 and 2021. He is a two time Olympic champion at the 2018 Winter Olympics in the team sprint and relay and was also a silver and bronze medalist in the 30 km skiathlon in 2014 and 2018. Lugnet, Falun
Lugnet is a large sport complex located in Falun, Sweden. 58 of the Swedish Sports Confederation's 67 special sports can be practiced there. There are six full sized indoor pitches in the area where everything from dance to association football can be played or performed. There are also two swimming pools (one indoors and one outdoors), a tennis hall, an athletics arena, an ice arena including one indoor ice hockey rink, an outdoor ice hockey rink, a bandy field and a curling hall. Lugnet is also Sweden's national cross-country skiing and ski jumping centre (the Lugnet Hills ski jump) and often hosts one part of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup.
