Roman Grigorčuk
Roman Yosypovych Hryhorchuk ( uk, Роман Йосипович Григорчук; born 22 March 1965) is a Ukrainian football manager who is the head coach of Chornomorets Odesa and a former player. Playing career He started playing with Lysonia Berezhany and then Temp Shepetivka. He established himself as a striker while playing for Prykarpattya Ivano-Frankivsk while in the Ukrainian First League where he consistently was among the top-scorers of the League. He spent some time in foreign clubs in Austria, Poland and Russia. Coaching career In his coaching career, he was a successful manager in Latvia with FK Ventspils winning the Latvian championship three times from 2006 to 2008 as well as the Latvian Cup in 2005 and 2007. During the 2009–10 Ukrainian Premier League season, Hryhorchuk was hired by Metalurh Zaporizhzhia. He stayed in that position only until the end of the season, though. Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast ( uk, Іва́но-Франкі́вська о́бласть, translit=Ivano-Frankivska oblast), also referred to as Ivano-Frankivshchyna ( uk, Іва́но-Франкі́вщина), is an administrative divisions of Ukraine, oblast (region) in western Ukraine. Football Club Mariupol ( uk, Футбольний клуб "Маріуполь" ) was a Ukrainian professional football club based in Mariupol, that competed in the Ukrainian Premier League. The club ceased to exist as a result of the Siege of Mariupol, during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. The 2010–11 Ukrainian First League was the 20th since its establishment. Eighteen teams competed in the competition. Two teams were promoted from the 2009–10 Ukrainian Second League and a third team replaced a team that withdrew from the competition. The competition began on July 17, 2010, with six matches. The 2009–10 Ukrainian Premier League season was the nineteenth since its establishment and second since its reorganization. Dynamo Kyiv were the defending champions, having won their 13th league title. A total of 16 teams participated in the league, 14 of which participated in the 2008–09 season, and two of which were promoted from the Ukrainian First League. The season began on 17 July 2009. The winter break in the season was from 13 December 2009 until 28 February 2010. The last round of the season was played on 9 May 2010. The Persha Liha ( uk, Перша ліга) or Ukrainian First League is a professional football league in Ukraine and the second tier of national football competitions pyramid.
