Roll Call Records is an independent record label in Los Angeles, California. President and founder Rob Abelow started the label in 2012 to release albums by artists on the management roster. Shortly thereafter, Roll Call Records partnered with Warner Music's independent label group. In 2017, Roll Call Records entered a partnership with The Orchard and House Arrest/Fat Possum for distribution and services and opened its first international office in Brighton, UK. Typhoon's album ''White Lighter'', also released by Roll Call, reached No. 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers charts and No. 98 on Billboard Top 200. In 2017, Roll Call also opened a singles label, Highland Park. Estrons
Estrons were a Wales, Welsh punk rock, alternative rock band from Cardiff, Wales. The band's final lineup featured Tali Källström (vocals), Rhodri Daniel (guitar), Steffan Pringle (bass), and Toby Murray (drums). They maintained a relentless touring schedule throughout their existence, alternating between their own headline tours and tours supporting bands such as Soft Play, Slaves, Honeyblood, The Amazons (band), The Amazons, Garbage (band), Garbage and Pussy Riot. Royal Canoe
Royal Canoe is a Canadian indie pop band from Winnipeg and Steinbach, Manitoba. History The band formed in 2010 from members of Manitoba bands The Waking Eyes, The Liptonians and TELE. They have toured with Alt-J and Bombay Bicycle Club. In 2014, Royal Canoe was nominated for Alternative Album of the Year at the Juno Awards. They also opened for Bombay Bicycle Club on their So Long, See You Tomorrow tour. The Lighthouse and the Whaler is an American band from Cleveland, Ohio. Originally a folk rock trio, they eventually became a rock quartet. Geographer is an American synth-pop/indie rock band founded in 2007 by Mike Deni in San Francisco, California, United States. Typhoon is an American indie rock band based in Portland, Oregon. Led by singer-songwriter Kyle Morton since its founding in 2005, the band is anchored by bassist Toby Tanabe, guitarist Dave Hall, drummer Alex Fitch, and violinist/vocalist Shannon Steele and has been noted for its large size, boasting up to fourteen members in its past. Summer Camp (band)
Summer Camp were a British indie pop duo, formed in October 2009 by married couple multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Warmsley and vocalist Elizabeth Sankey. They are signed to the Moshi Moshi label on which they have released all four of their full-length albums, as well as three EPs and a film soundtrack. Summer Camp's musical style has been described as "21st-century alt.pop", but also is influenced by 1960s girl groups and 1980s synthpop. The lyrics, written by Sankey, are often quite dark and deal with failed relationships, conflicts, treasure and teenage obsessions. Along with the band's artwork and music videos they also draw heavily from American culture from the 1960s–1980s. Rubblebucket
Rubblebucket is an American art-pop and indie-rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The primary members are musical couple (now separated) Annakalmia Traver and Alex Toth. Formation Alex Toth (trumpet, band leader) and Kalmia Traver (vocals, saxophone) first met at the University of Vermont where they were both enrolled as music majors. Upon graduating in 2006, they began touring the United States as members of different projects. The band began performing primarily in the Northeast, in major cities and college towns, earning a reputation for their raucous energy. Toth had been developing a dance band that merges psychedelic indie rock, upbeat dance, and left field arrangements. On An On (usually stylised as ON AN ON) is an American indie rock band, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band was formed by Nate Eiesland, Alissa Ricci and Ryne Estwing after the dissolution of their previous band, Scattered Trees, in 2012. El Ten Eleven is an American, Los Angeles-based, post-rock duo, known for combining guitar/bass doubleneck or fretless bass, with heavy looping, or vamping, and the use of an effects pedal, over acoustic or electric drumming.
