Estrons were a Wales, Welsh punk rock, alternative rock band from Cardiff, Wales. The band's final lineup featured Tali Källström (vocals), Rhodri Daniel (guitar), Steffan Pringle (bass), and Toby Murray (drums). They maintained a relentless touring schedule throughout their existence, alternating between their own headline tours and tours supporting bands such as Soft Play, Slaves, Honeyblood, The Amazons (band), The Amazons, Garbage (band), Garbage and Pussy Riot. Estrons's debut album ''You Say I'm Too Much, I Say You're Not Enough'' was released in October 2018 to critical acclaim and was nominated for the Welsh Music Prize in October 2019. The band officially disbanded on 20 February 2019. ''You Say I'm Too Much, I Say You're Not Enough'' is the first and final studio album by Welsh Alternative rock band Estrons. The album was released on 5 October 2018 through the band's own imprint Gofod Records in the United Kingdom and through Roll Call Records in the United States and was distributed worldwide by The Orchard (company), The Orchard (a subsidiary of Sony Music). The album was met with critical acclaim, receiving 4/5 star reviews from NME, DIY (magazine), DIY, The Independent, Dork (magazine), Dork and Upset Magazine. It was nominated for the Welsh Music Prize in October 2019. Background Estrons announced their debut album, ''You Say I'm Too Much, I Say You're Not Enough'' on 25 July 2018 at the same time as their next single, "Cameras" which was taken from the forthcoming album. The Welsh Music Prize is an annual music prize awarded for the best album from Wales, as voted for by members of the music industry. Roll Call Records is an independent record label in Los Angeles, California. President and founder Rob Abelow started the label in 2012 to release albums by artists on the management roster. South By Southwest
South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. It began in 1987 and has continued to grow in both scope and size every year. In 2017, the conference lasted for 10 days with the interactive track lasting for five days, music for seven days, and film for nine days.
