Rocco Borella
Rocco Borella (22 February 1920 – 23 September 1994) was an Italian painter. He was one of the most famous Italian painters of the avant-garde Italian Art movement from 1950 to 1970. He was also considered a master of color like Mark Rothko. Borella experimented with informal art, minimalism, and rationalism. Borella was born in Genoa, Italy. He exhibited worldwide. Mark Rothko
Mark Rothko (), born Markus Yakovlevich Rothkowitz (russian: Ма́ркус Я́ковлевич Ротко́вич, link=no, lv, Markuss Rotkovičs, link=no; name not Anglicized until 1940; September 25, 1903 – February 25, 1970), was a Latvian-American abstract painter. He is best known for his color field paintings that depicted irregular and painterly rectangular regions of color, which he produced from 1949 to 1970. Although Rothko did not personally subscribe to any one school, he is associated with the American Abstract Expressionist movement of modern art. Originally emigrating to Portland, Oregon from Russia with his family, Rothko later moved to New York City where his youthful period of artistic production dealt primarily with urban scenery. Palazzo Delle Albere
Palazzo delle Albere is a Renaissance villa-fortress in Trento, northern Italy. It was built during the 16th century by the Madruzzo family of prince-bishops of Trento. It takes its name (meaning "Palace of the Trees") from the rows of poplars that once led to the castle; it is surrounded by a park, now smaller than once because it is crossed by the Brenner Railway and partly occupied by the Trento Monumental Cemetery. It has a square plan, with four square, 6 m-wide and 20 m tall corner towers, surrounded by a ditch. In the Great Hall, on the second floor, were once frescoes celebrating emperor Charles V's deeds. Still visible are instead the depictions of the 12 months.
