Robinson Hospital
The Robinson Hospital is a health facility in Newal Road, Ballymoney, Northern Ireland. It is managed by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. History The facility was financed by a gift from Samuel Robinson of Philadelphia, a founder of American Stores, in memory of his parents who came from Cloughmills. It was designed by Thomas Houston and was officially opened by the Duchess of Abercorn in September 1933. Ballymoney ( ga, Baile Monaidh , meaning 'townland of the moor') is a small town and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area. The company was incorporated in 1917 when The Acme Tea Company merged with four small Philadelphia-area grocery stores ''(Childs, George Dunlap, Bell Company,'' and ''A House That Quality Built)'' to form American Stores. Cloughmills or Cloghmills ( ) is a village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Ballymoney is 9 miles to the north-west and Ballymena is 10 miles to the south.
