Robert Lichal
Robert Lichal (born 9 July 1932, Vienna, Austria) is a retired Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Life Lichal graduated from high school in 1950 and subsequently went to Lower Austria. As a student he studied legal science, and in 1965, he earned a doctorate in law. As a so-called ''Weißer Jahrgang, ''he had to and rejected military service. He politically engaged himself as an Austrian Workers Federation (ÖAAB) member and member of the public service trade (OGB). From 1987 to 1991, he was the Federal Chancellor of the ÖAAB. From 1976 to 1979, Lichal was a member of the Federal Council of Austria. From 1979 to 1987, he was a deputy to the National Council (Austria), National Assembly of Austria. From 1987 to 1990, he held the post of defense minister at the Federal Ministry for National Defence and Sport. Matra
Matra (an acronym for Mécanique Aviation Traction) was a French industrial conglomerate. During its years of operation, it was engaged in a wide range of business activities, primarily focused around automobiles, bicycles, aeronautics and weaponry. Following the acquisition of vehicle manufacturer Automobiles René Bonnet, the company formed Matra Automobiles during the 1960s and made the Matra brand famous through the production of a range of racing cars and sports cars. Its car division worked closely with other vehicle manufacturers, most significantly Renault, prior to the decline and sale of Matra Automobiles during the early 2000s. In addition to road cars, Matra entered into a wide range of businesses, eventually diversifying into media, weaponry, aeronautics, automobiles, and music distribution. Egmont Foregger
Egmont Foregger (21 September 1922, Salzburg, Austria – 17 May 2007, Bruck an der Mur, Austria) was an Austrian jurist, official and politician. Life Foregger came from the old Austrian family of ''Foregger Ritter von Greiffenthurn''. He was a graduate of the Academic Gymnasium in Salzburg, and then worked as an official in the Ministry of Justice, in particular in criminal legislature. From 1974 onwards, he also directed the criminal legislature. Foregger - the first and only, as of 2013, under the Criminal Justice Ministers of the Second Republic - was instrumental in the large Christian Broda-involved penal reform in 1975. Foregger has written numerous publications on criminal law. He is one of the authors of the new edition of the "Viennese Commentary on the Criminal Code". The Austrian People's Party (german: Österreichische Volkspartei , ÖVP ) is a Christian-democratic and liberal-conservative political party in Austria. Michael Spindelegger (born 21 December 1959) is an Austrian politician. He served in the cabinet of Chancellor Werner Faymann as foreign minister of Austria from 2008 to 2013 and as finance minister from 2013 to 2014; additionally, he held the office of vice-chancellor from 2011 to 2014. Spindelegger was also the leader of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) from 2011 to 2014. In August 2014 he unexpectedly resigned from all political positions. The military consists of 22,050 active-duty personnel and 125,600 reservists. The military budget is 0.74% of national GDP or €2.85 billion.
