Rising From Ashes (album)
''Rising from Ashes'' is the fifth album by German power metal band Silent Force, released on December 13, 2013, via AFM Records. It is their first album since '' Walk the Earth'' in 2007. It was produced by Beyrodt himself and it was the first and only album also with singer Michael Bormann (Jaded Heart), bass guitarist Mat Sinner ( Primal Fear, (Sinner (band) Voodoo Circle) and Italian keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Jorn, Edge of Forever), respectively instead of D. C. Cooper (returned to Royal Hunt), Jürgen Steinmetz and Torsten Röhre. The album was preceded by the single "Circle of Trust" on December 4, 2013. Silent Force
Silent Force is a German power metal band with neoclassical and progressive influences, founded by guitarist Alex Beyrodt. Band history The band was formed in 1999 by German guitarist Alex Beyrodt ( Sinner, Primal Fear, Voodoo Circle, The Sygnet) and American singer D.C. Cooper (of Royal Hunt fame). In 2000 their debut album '' The Empire of Future'' was released; along with Beyrodt and Cooper there were also Torsten Röhre on keyboards, André Hilgers (who will later play with Rage) and Thorsten Fleisch on bass. In 2001 their second studio album, '' Infatuator'' was released by Massacre Records with the addition of Jürgen Steinmetz replacing Fleisch on bass. Sinner (band)
Sinner is a German heavy metal band formed by vocalist and bassist Mat Sinner in 1982 (who later joined Primal Fear). They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene. Their latest album, ''Brotherhood'', was released on 15 July 2022. History Based in Stuttgart, Germany, Sinner released their first album, ''Wild'n'Evil'' in 1982. This album, along with the next two (''Fast Decision'' and ''Danger Zone'') were raw affairs, having little in common with the melodic metal they would later become known for. After many personnel changes (including drummer Edgar Patrik leaving to join Bonfire), the band saw the addition of Accept's Herman Frank on guitars and the release of ''Touch of Sin'' in 1985. Jürgen Steinmetz
Juergen Steinmetz is the bass player for Rock Ignition, Silent Force, Sons of Seasons, Lima and ex-member of Headstone Epitaph. Biography Juergen Steinmetz founded his first band Headstone Epitaph in 1987. They recorded their first longplayer "Without The Slightest Qualm" in 1996, signed a record deal with Noise Records and released the following albums ''Wings of Eternity'' (1998) and ''Powergames'' (1999). For lack of activity of the band he decided to join Silent Force in the year 2000. Jorn is a Norwegian hard rock and metal band fronted by vocalist Jørn Lande. Other members include guitarist Tore Moren, bassist Sid Ringsby and drummer Francesco Jovino. The band was established in 2000 by Lande and the debut album ''Starfire (Jorn album), Starfire'' was released the same year. Voodoo Circle, also known as Alex Beyrodt's Voodoo Circle, is a German hard rock band founded in 2008, as a project of Silent Force guitarist Alex Beyrodt (currently also playing with heavy metal band Primal Fear) who had the idea to re-think his personal vision of music, making songs more based on his early influences, such as Whitesnake, Yngwie Malmsteen, Deep Purple and Rainbow. Primal Fear is a German power metal band formed in 1997 by Ralf Scheepers (vocals, ex-Gamma Ray) and Mat Sinner (bass and vocals, Sinner). Sinner and Scheepers formed the band after Scheepers was not hired as Rob Halford's replacement in Judas Priest. Mat Sinner (born Matthias Lasch; 16 October 1964 in Stuttgart, West Germany) is a bassist, vocalist, and record producer from Stuttgart, Germany. Sinner has been involved in numerous bands and projects throughout his musical career. His main bands have been Sinner since 1982 and Primal Fear since 1997; he formed the latter band with former Gamma Ray singer Ralf Scheepers. He also formed the band Voodoo Circle with guitarist Alex Beyrodt, in 2008. Sinner has also been working as a record producer for Kiske/Somerville, Bobby Kimball/Jimi Jamison (former vocalists of bands Toto and Survivor), and the first Scheepers solo album.
