Riley Neal Grant (born January 27, 1995) is an American association football, soccer player who plays as a Defender (association football), defender. Previously, he played professionally for Seattle Sounders FC 2, and also appeared for AFC Cleveland and Cleveland SC, where he was used as a Forward (association football), forward. Youth and college Born in Cleveland, Cleveland, Ohio, Grant was a three-year letterwinner at Copley High School, playing with the Indians through his junior year. Although a steady contributor his first two years, he broke out as a junior, notching 16 goals and eight assists. Grant was named second-team All-Ohio, as well as all-Suburban League and all-OHSAA Northeast Region athletic conferences, Northeast Region. He did not play with Copley as a senior, instead choosing to play club soccer with Internationals SC in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. 2018 NPSL Season
The 2018 National Premier Soccer League season was part of the 106th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States and the 16th season of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Elm City Express was the defending champion. The 2018 NPSL champion qualifies to play for the 2019 Hank Steinbrecher Cup organized by the United States Adult Soccer Association. The NPSL has elected to use results of the 2018 league season to determine which NPSL clubs qualify for the 2019 U.S. Open Cup. The United States Soccer Federation has not yet determined how many berths for the U.S. Open Cup will be awarded to NPSL clubs. Syracuse FC is a soccer team based in Syracuse, New York. They debuted in the National Premier Soccer League in May 2017. The team colors are white, black, gold and maroon. History Syracuse FC was announced as a National Premier Soccer League expansion team on February 8, 2017. FC Buffalo is an American association football, soccer club based in Buffalo, New York, Buffalo, New York (state), New York, United States, with teams in men's and women's soccer. Rio Grande Valley FC, also known as RGVFC or Rio Grande Valley FC Toros, is an American semi-professional soccer team based in Edinburg, Texas operated by Lone Star, LLC. Sacramento Republic FC is an American professional soccer team based in Sacramento, California, that plays in the Western Conference of the USL Championship, the second level in US soccer.
