Richard Christian Juul Sorensen (born 30 October 1970) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career Juul started racing in the British leagues during the 1991 British League Division Two season, when riding for the Newcastle Diamonds. He rode in the top tier of British speedway for Wolverhampton Wolves during the 1995 Premier League speedway season. Denmark is one of the major teams in international speedway. They are managed by Denmark's most successful speedway rider, four time Individual World Champion Hans Nielsen and the current captain is Niels-Kristian Iversen. They have won the Speedway World Cup / Speedway World Team Cup a record 15 occasions with team manager Nielsen being a rider on 11 of those teams. Speedway World Cup The Denmark national speedway were a major force throughout the 1980s, winning a record 6 world titles in a row, between 1983 and 1988. They are currently one of the best teams in the world. 1995 Premier League Speedway Season
The 1995 Premier League season was the 61st season of the top tier of speedway in the United Kingdom. It was also the first for the new league, and the first of two seasons in which British speedway was competed as a single division. Summary The gulf in quality of teams was highlighted because of the merging of the two leagues, with Eastbourne Eagles winning the title 56 points clear of bottom club Exeter Falcons. Eastbourne had been an easy runner-up the previous year to runaway winners Poole Pirates and retained four of their riders Martin Dugard, Dean Barker, Stefan Dannö and Stefan Andersson, which provided enough firepower to seal the Championship. Poole finished mid-table but were missing Craig Boyce who had switched to Swindon Robins. Bradford Dukes won their fourth Knockout Cup in the last five years. Fladbro Speedway is a speedway track near Randers in Denmark. The track is located on the Randersvej road, about 5 kilometres west of Randers, on the south side of the Nørreå close to where it meets the Gudenå.
