Rhys Britton
Rhys Britton (born 13 May 1999) is a British and Welsh road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . Career He represented Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where he competed in the men's road race. Britton became a five times British champion after winning the Points Championship at the 2019 British National Track Championships and 2020 British National Track Championships and the Scratch Championship in 2020. He had previously won both the team pursuit title and Madison title. At the 2022 British National Track Championships in Newport, Wales he won another British title after winning the team pursuit title. The 2017 UEC European Track Championships (under-23 & junior) was the 17th continental championships for European under-23 and junior track cyclists, and the 8th since the event was renamed following the reorganisation of European track cycling in 2010. Junior Tour Of Wales
The Junior Tour of Wales is an annual cycle race for junior male riders, held around Brynmawr, Blaenau Gwent, Wales. First held in 1981, the race is the final round of the British Cycling Junior Road Series – and as such attracts the best junior racing cyclists from across the UK, as well as elite international junior teams from across Europe and beyond. From 1981 until 1993 the race consisted of three stages held over two days. In 1993 it was expanded to three days and held on the August Bank Holiday for the first time. In 2017 it switched to a four-day format. In recent years the race's final stage has finished on the Tumble: this climb often decides the winner of the race. Steve Jones and Eddie Smart were regular helpers at the Junior Tour of Wales. Matthew Thomas Walls (born 20 April 1998) is a British road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Walls won the gold medal in the men's omnium event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
