Rezaul Karim Rehan
Rezaul Karim Rehan ( bn, রেজাউল করিম রেহান; born 6 September 1968) is a retired Bangladeshi footballer who played as a defender for the Bangladesh national team from 1987 to 1993. Club career Rehan was trained in the AMCA Academy in Golapganj Upazila of Sylhet. He eventually played in the Sylhet First Division Football League with Agragami Club. He impressed coach Shamsuzzoha Chad during an under-19 camp held in Sylhet. Following his performances with Faridpur District in the National Football Championship, coach Chad helped him secure a place in the Dhaka Football League club Muktijoddha Sangsad KC. Rehan represented Mohammedan SC in the 1988–89 Asian Club Championship, during which he played an integral role as the Black and Whites became the first Bangladeshi club to reach the tournament's semi-final league round. Dhaka Senior Division Football League, also referred as First Division Football League, is the third tier of football league in Bangladesh. Until 2006, it was the top-tier league of the country. It was established in 1948 as Dhaka League, while Bangladesh was still under Pakistani control. Upon the creation of the new national top-tier professional league B. Elias Hossain
Elias Hossain is a retired Bangladeshi footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He played for the Bangladesh national team from 1983 to 1989. He also captained the national team during the 1989 South Asian Games. Elias is also the only player from Gopalganj to play for the Bangladesh national team. He is currently working as an executive director for the Bangladesh Football Federation. Nurul Haque Manik (died 14 June 2020) was a Bangladeshi footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He was a prominent figure in the Bangladesh national football team for ten years and spent most of his club career playing for Dhaka League giants Mohammedan Sporting Club and Brothers Union. Early life Mohammad Nurul Haque Manik was born in Matlab Uttar Upazila , Chandpur, Bangladesh and spent his childhood there. The Asian Football Confederation was allocated two assured qualifying berths for the 1990 FIFA World Cup. 26 teams were in the running for these spots; Bahrain, India, Maldives and South Yemen withdrew without playing a qualifying match. Asia's two automatic qualifying berths were taken by Korea Republic and the United Arab Emirates. The Quaid-e-Azam International Cup was an annual football tournament held in Pakistan. The tournament was established to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the first leader of Pakistan, known as ''Quaid-e-Azam'' (Great Leader).
