Renu Saluja
Renu Saluja (5 July 1952 – 16 August 2000) was an Indian film editor. In the 1980s and 1990s, she worked with both mainstream and art house Hindi cinema directors, including Govind Nihalani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sudhir Mishra, Shekhar Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt, and Vijay Singh. Her work encompassed multiple feature films, documentaries, short films, and television series. Renu was a four-time winner of National Film Award for Best Editing for '' Parinda'' (1989), '' Dharavi'' (1993), ''Sardar'' (1993) and '' Godmother'' (1999) and won Filmfare Award for best editing for '' Parinda'' (1989) and '' 1942: A Love Story'' (1994). ''Sardar'' is a 1994 Indian biographical drama film on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of India's greatest freedom fighters, directed by Ketan Mehta and written by noted playwright Vijay Tendulkar. Kundan Shah (19 October 1947 – 7 October 2017), was an Indian film director and writer. He is known for his comedy classic ''Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro'' (1983) and his 1986–1987, TV series ''Nukkad'' with Saeed Akhtar Mirza. Biography Kundan Shah was born in a Gujarati family. Shah studied direction at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and he developed an interest in the comedy genre. His directorial debut was the comedy film ''Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro'' (aka Who Pays the Piper) in 1983. He also was the co-writer of the film, with Satish Kaushik. ''Murder at Monkey Hill'' is 1976 Indian film written and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The short film in Black-and-white was made by Vidhu Vinod Chopra as his final project while doing his diploma at FTII.
