Rene Tammist (born 5 July 1978) is an Estonian politician representing the Social Democratic Party (SDE). He was sworn is as the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology in the cabinet of Jüri Ratas on 22 August 2018, succeeding Urve Palo, who resigned from the post. Jüri Ratas
Jüri Ratas (; born 2 July 1978) is an Estonian politician who was the 18th prime minister of Estonia from 2016 to 2021. He has been Leader of the Centre Party since 2016, and was the mayor of Tallinn from 2005 to 2007. Jüri Ratas' first cabinet was in office from 23 November 2016 to 29 April 2019. It formed when Social Democrats and the Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica joined the opposition's no-confidence vote against the previous cabinet and switched the liberal centre-right Reform Party with the Estonian Centre Party. Jüri Ratas' second cabinet was active from April 2019 to January 2021. Urve Palo
Urve Palo (born 10 July 1972) is an Estonian economist and politician, a member of the Social Democratic Party. Palo was born in Haapsalu. From April 2007 until May 2009, she served as Estonian Minister of Population and Ethnic Affairs. She also served as the Minister of Entrepreneurship in Taavi Rõivas' second cabinet from 9 April 2015, but resigned on 31 August while being disappointed with the coalition with the Reform Party. In November 2016, the coalition led by Rõivas fell apart and a new coalition was formed by Center Party, SDE and IRL. On 23 November 2016, Palo was nominated as the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology. Jüri Ratas' Cabinet
Jüri is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Harju County, northern Estonia. It is located southeast of the capital Tallinn, by the Tallinn–Tartu road (E263), directly after the intersection with Tallinn Ring Road (nr. 11). Jüri is the administrative centre of Rae Parish. Jüri has a population of 3,426 as of 1 January 2012. In 2011, Jüri was the center of population of Estonia. The Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) is the political group in the European Parliament of the Party of European Socialists (PES). The Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) is a committee of the European Parliament. Its areas of responsibility relate to industry, especially technology-intensive manufacturing, information technology, and telecommunications.
