The Regionalliga Tirol is a third-tier division of Austrian football introduced in the 2019–20 season as one of the successor of the ''Austrian Regionalliga West''. It covers the Austrian state of Tyrol and is one of five leagues at this level. 2019–20 reformation Due to high travel costs, the Vorarlberg and Tyrol clubs decide to leave the Austrian Regionalliga West and form their own Elite ligas, forcing Salzburg to do so as well. The Eliteliga were divided in a Regionalliga Salzburg, Regionalliga Tirol and Eliteliga Vorarlberg in the fall with 10 clubs each. Sportverein Wörgl is an Austrian association football club from Wörgl. The team currently competes in the Austrian Regional League Tirol, the third tier of Austrian football. History Founded in 1952, they played in the Tiroler League until 1992 when they clinched promotion to the third tier Austrian Regionalliga. In 1998 they were promoted to the 2. FC Wacker Innsbruck is an Austrian association football club from Innsbruck. The club was formed in June 2002 as ''FC Wacker Tirol'', and plays their home games at Tivoli-Neu. The club regard themselves as the spiritual continuation of the team FC Tirol Innsbruck, which went bankrupt in 2002 as well as the original FC Wacker Innsbruck which had been founded in 1913. In honour of this heritage, FC Wacker Tirol was renamed FC Wacker Innsbruck in 2007. Fußballclub Kufstein is an association football club based in the town of Kufstein, Tyrol, Austria, that competes in Regionalliga Tirol, one of the third tiers of the Austrian football league system. The Austrian Football Second League (german: 2. Liga) is the second-highest professional division in Austrian football. It was formerly called the First League (''Erste Liga''), from 2002 to 2018.
