The Reflection on the Ashura movement ( fa, تأملی در نهضت عاشورا) is a Persian book and a research work about the Islamic event ''Ashura'', by the Iranian author, Rasul Jafarian. In this book, after introducing the oldest and most important historical texts related to the history of Ashura, author has examined how the origin, consequences, falsifications and rituals of the Ashura movement were formed. Rasul Jafarian
Rasul Jafarian ( fa, رسول جعفریان; born June 30, 1964) is an Iranian clergyman and researcher in field of Iranian history. He is currently the Professor of the Department of History at the University of Tehran, the Director of The specialized library on Islam and Iran, and the Director of the Central Library of the University of Tehran. Rasul Jafarian became a permanent member of the Academy of Sciences of Iran in June 2018 with the vote of the members of the General Assembly of the Academy of Sciences. Life Birth Rasul Jafarian was born on June 30, 1964, in Khvorasgan, Isfahan Province, Iran. Jaʽfari Jurisprudence
Jaʿfarī jurisprudence ( ar, الفقه الجعفري; also called Jafarite in English), Jaʿfarī school or Jaʿfarī fiqh, is the school of jurisprudence (''fiqh'') in Twelver and Ismaili (including Nizari) Shia Islam, named after the sixth Imam, Ja'far al-Sadiq. In Iran, Jaʽfari jurisprudence is enshrined in the constitution. It differs from the predominant madhhabs of Sunni jurisprudence in its reliance on ''ijtihad'', as well as on matters of inheritance, religious taxes, commerce, personal status, and the allowing of temporary marriage or '' mutʿa''. Since 1959, Jaʿfari jurisprudence has been afforded the status of "fifth school" along with the four Sunni schools by Azhar University. Rijal Al-Kashshi
( ar, اختیار معرفة الرجال), also known as the ( ar, رجال الکَشّي), is a Twelver Shi'ite work of biographical evaluation () originally written by Muhammad ibn Umar al-Kashshi ( 854–941/951) and abridged by Shaykh Tusi (995–1067 CE). Al-Kashshi's original work is now lost. The reason given by Tusi to abridge al-Kashshi's work is that it contained many errors. The abridged work as extant today contains 1115 hadiths and refers to 515 companions of the Shi'ite Imams. It is one of the four books of Shi'ite biographical evaluation which are regarded as authoritative in Twelver Shi'ism. Title The work was abridged by Shaykh Tusi in 1064 as , which means "The Selection of the Knowledge of the Men". Molla Agha Darbandi
Fazel Darbandi ( fa, فاضل دربندی), also Fadil al-Darbandi ( ar, فاضل الدربندي), also known as Molla Agha Darbandi (Persian: ) (died 1869/1870, Tehran), was an Iranian Shia cleric and scholar of the Qajar era. Biography Darbandi's surname implies an origin in the city of Darband (i.e. Derbent, now part of Dagestan, Russia), or its environs, although the exact whereabouts of his place and date of birth are unknown. Darbandi grew up to study in Najaf, in Ottoman Iraq, where he was a student of Molla Mohammad Sharif-ol-Olama Mazandarani (died 1829–1830).
