Redmare
Redmare (stylized in all caps) was the second concert tour headlined by South Korean girl group Red Velvet, in support of their second special extended play '' Summer Magic'' (2018). The tour began in August 4, 2018, in Seoul, two days prior the release of ''Summer Magic'', consisting of 19 shows. It was the group's first North American concert tour, with eight shows in the United States and Canada. Background and development The tour was officially announced in July 2018 with tickets going on sale on July 5, 2018. The tour began in Seoul's SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium on August 4, 2018. La Rouge (tour)
South Korean girl group Red Velvet has embarked on three concert tours since their debut under SM Entertainment in 2015. They kicked off their debut concert tour, titled Red Room, with a 3-day show at the Olympic Hall in Seoul in August 2017 before continuing with 10 shows in Japan, attracting about 52,000 people in total. Red Velvet's first world tour, Redmare, began at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul in August 2018, and continued with shows in Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, United States and Canada. Their 5-date tour in Japan was attended by a total of around 40,000 people. Red Room was the first concert tour headlined by South Korean girl group Red Velvet, in support of their first special extended play '' The Red Summer'' (2017). The tour is the group's very first concert in three years since their debut. Background On July 4, 2017, through a press release, SM Entertainment revealed that Red Velvet would be holding their first ever solo concert titled "Red Room" for two nights on August 19 and 20. SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium () is an indoor sporting arena located at the Olympic Park in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The arena was built from September 1984 to April 1986.
