"#Cookie Jar" (Hashtag Cookie Jar) is a song by South Korean girl group Red Velvet, taken from their debut Japanese extended play of the same title, '' #Cookie Jar'' (2018). Background and composition It was reported that Red Velvet will have their Japan debut on July after Japan Nikkan Sports and Sankei Sports reported that the group had its first Japanese conference at the Sports Plaza in Musashino, Tokyo. Kang Seul-gi (; born February 10, 1994), known mononymously as Seulgi, is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is a member of girl group Red Velvet, its sub-unit Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi, and the supergroup Got the Beat. She released her debut EP, '' 28 Reasons'', in 2022. Chris Gehringer (born May 27, 1962) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered recordings such as Gwen Stefani's '' Love. Angel. Music. Baby.'' (2004), Rihanna's '' Loud'' (2010), Lady Gaga's '' Born This Way'' (2011) and Drake's '' Take Care'' (2011). Biography Gehringer was born in Teaneck, New Jersey and raised in Bergen County. After graduating from Pascack Hills High School in Montvale, New Jersey, he attended the Institute of Audio Research. His first job in the industry was at Greene Street Recording and from there, he went on to work as a cutting assistant at Trutone Records.
