Rebecca Rolls
Rebecca Jane Rolls (born 22 August 1975) is a New Zealand former cricketer and association footballer who represented New Zealand in both sports. In cricket, she played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter, and appeared in 1 Test match, 104 One Day Internationals and 2 Twenty20 Internationals for New Zealand between 1997 and 2007. She played domestic cricket for Central Districts and Auckland. In football, she made 21 appearances for New Zealand. Cricket Rolls had a long One Day International career, representing New Zealand in 104 matches, as well as 1 Test match. She was only the second New Zealand woman to reach the 100 ODI milestone, after Debbie Hockley. She was a wicketkeeper batsman. She played in the victorious Women's Cricket World Cup at Lincoln in 2000 and she also played for the Auckland Hearts in the State League. She was born in Napier. Debbie Hockley
Deborah Ann Hockley (born 7 November 1962) is a New Zealand former cricketer who played as a right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler. Hockley was the first woman to become President of New Zealand Cricket. Domestic career Hockley played domestic cricket for Canterbury and North Shore. International career Hockley appeared in 19 Test matches for New Zealand, making a high score of 126 not out and averaging 52.04 with the bat. Hockley captained New Zealand in six Tests, drawing them all. She also appeared in 118 One Day Internationals for New Zealand, averaging 41.89 with the bat. She captained 27 of them, winning 12 and losing 15. 2012 Cyprus Cup
The 2012 Cyprus Women's Cup was the fifth edition of the Cyprus Women's Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Cyprus. It took place between 28 February – 6 March 2012. Format The twelve invited teams were split into three groups that played a round-robin tournament. Groups A and B, containing the strongest ranked teams, were the only ones in contention to win the title. The group winners from A and B contested the final, with the runners-up playing for third place. The Group C winner faced the better 3rd place team from Groups A and B for 5th, with the Group C runner-up facing the other third place team for 7th. 2006–07 ICC Women's Quadrangular Series
The 2006–07 ICC Women's Quadrangular Series was a Women's One Day International cricket tournament that took place in India in February and March 2007. Four teams competed: Australia, England, India and New Zealand. The tournament consisted of a double round-robin group stage, in which Australia and New Zealand finished as the top two, and then a third-place play-off and a final were contested to decide the final positions. Australia defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets in the final. All of the matches took place in Chennai, at the IIT Chemplast Ground and the MA Chidambaram Stadium. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Bert Sutcliffe Oval
The Bert Sutcliffe Oval is a cricket ground at Lincoln University in Lincoln, New Zealand that has staged first-class matches as well as international matches for both women's and under-19 level cricket. Previously known as BIL Oval, in February 2000 the ground was renamed in honour of the New Zealand opening batsman. The ground staged its maiden first-class match in November 1999 when England A played the North Island in the Shell Conference.
