Real Estelí FC
Real Esteli Fútbol Club is a Nicaraguan football club playing in the top flight of Nicaragua's league system, the Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol de Primera División. The club play out of their home stadium, Estadio Independencia, based in the northern city of Estelí. Real Estelí has 18 national championships, second most out of every team in Nicaragua, only trailing Diriangén. They also won a CONCACAF record eight consecutive championships from 2006 to 2014. History The club was founded in 1960 as Estelí FC, adding Real to its name in 1961. Estelí FC plays at the Estadio Independencia, one of the biggest stadiums in Nicaragua, with a capacity of 4,800. The club is known by the nickname, ''El Tren del Norte'' (''Train of the North''), coming as it does, from the northern region of Las Segovias. Harold Joshua Medina (born 30 January 2002) is a Nicaraguan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga Primera club Real Estelí and the Nicaragua national team. Career A youth academy graduate of Real Estelí, Medina made his league debut on 22 August 2019 in a 3–0 win against Deportivo Las Sabanas. Medina is a current Nicaraguan youth international. José Luis Trejo Montoya (born 4 August 1951) is a Mexican former professional footballer and current manager of Real Estelí. Career Trejo played club football for Atlético Español and Tecos. Trejo has coached Toros de Neza, Cruz Azul, Chiapas, C.F. Pachuca, UANL Tigres, Monarcas Morelia and Necaxa. He had managed more than 300 First Division matches. Trejo took Cruz Azul to the Copa Libertadores de América final against Boca Juniors in 2001, which made Cruz Azul the first Mexico team to reach the Libertadores final. Carlos Augusto Rivera Guerra, better known as Carlos Rivera (born March 15, 1986), is a Mexican singer. He rose to fame by winning the third generation of ''La Academia''. Rivera has released four studio albums and participated in six theatre productions. Early life Rivera was born March 15, 1986, in Huamantla, Tlaxcala, Mexico.
